Chapter 1 - Dead

As I wander through this dark tunnel
My mind in turmoil and my heart in pain
The only thing for me to do
Is to silently bleed away

My dark heart means nothing to the lord
My life now worthless
My whole body sore
The only path for a wretched thing like me
Spells death

But before I die
I get down on my knees and pray.
Oh lord forgive thee.
Keep me safe from thy sin
And forgive thee for thy wrong doing,
So that I may gain Christ.

And as I wander farther into this vain decaying world
I find something bright
It is small and delicate
But s I run forward
I break into tears
And yell
Lord you have shone me light!
