Chapter 1 - the nightmare begins
Syrus ran to the edge of the island known as Duel Acadamy. Tears were brimming in his eyes.
`Gods!' he thought `why is life so unfair?!'
Sounds like one of those “oh, the world is out to get me!” teenagers, eh? Well, I'd say Syrus Truesdale has a pretty good reason to think so. For one thing: his grades were horrible! Worse than Jadan Yuki's! second: he had no self-confidence what-so-ever, thus adding to this feeling. Third: his oh-so-perfect brother Zane hated him, and he was forces to live under hhis shadow!
` I just wanna die!' he thought. But fate must have been laughing at him, cause what happened next was much worse.
Lost in his thoughts, Syrus didn't see the edge of the cliff he was running on….
