Chapter 18 - I'm Only Human

Im only human

Im not perfect,
Ill say it.
I say dumb things,
And I can barely sing.
I some times stare at the sun,
Im only human.

Youre not perfect,
Dont be afraid to say it.
Youve made mistakes.
Youve had hate.
Its not that uncommon,
Youre only human.

This world isnt always nice.
It can be as cold as ice.
But it can also be warm,
Protect you from harm.
We live together as one,
Were all human.

We have feelings,
We all want things.
We get hurt,
We laugh during work.
We think less and less,
Weve created and cleaned up a mess.

Im just saying,
In defense of the human population,
Were not perfect,
No matter how you unjustified it.
No one race is supreme,
No one religion is truly clean.

Were just human,
Living our lives how we command.
It doesnt matter if you believe in a god
Or in a blob.
Go on with your daily plans.
Just remember, were only human.
