Chapter 1 - But Why

Why is this word so full of hate,
where has all the laughter gone?
Why must we all try and be the same,
when we are told that we our unique?
Why don't we just take a stand,
and try to be who we really are?
Why can we not just take a break,
and just try not to understand?
Why do we let the others make
up all that we really are now?
Why let them make all our desicions,
when we choose what to do?
Why feel like we are different
when we are still of this World?
Why will no one listen,
when I try to take a stand?
Why can I not ask all that I please
when you try and suceed at what I want?
Why continue breathing when you
shall just eventually stop it all togther?
Why am I an outcast when I try to
just love and be loved by all?
But why when I ask why,
won't just one person listen?
Why?
