Chapter 1 - Never Gave A Dang
I know the secret. I know that
I saw you kill her, on the inside.
You never really loved her,
yet you wanted love for you...
I know that she cried last night. I know that
you never really gave a damn.
She was never anything to you,
but she made you feel whole again.
I saw her hide in shame. I saw her
die inside everyday, from you little "secret."
Her shame wrought you only joy,
but you never heed the scars upon her heart,
I heard her say that she wanted to die. I know that
she did not mean it, but she wanted something
in which to rejoice. Her heart can only be
fixed so much in those degrees of pain.
I saw that her wrists were red. I heard her
sob her life almost away. She said that you had
spared her, and her life would never be the same.
Can you not give her at least a little love?
I know that you cannot love when you do not. I see that
it is hard on her, but you still care not.
You say that you would never hit her,
but you bitterness is a slap in the face, every single time.
But you never gave a damn...
I know that

in which to rejoice. Her heart can only be
fixed so much in those degrees of pain.

I know that you cannot love when you do not. I see that
it is hard on her, but you still care not.
You say that you would never hit her,
but you bitterness is a slap in the face, every single time.
But you never gave a damn...
