Chapter 1 - Faultered
I'm lost without you
I'm still in love
I miss your warmth
I miss the thought that you're still near
I held too tight
and you let me go
It was a beautiful letdown
To come out alone and hurt
If only I'd known
My grip on life was not that firm,
I'm like a child,
I just need someone to guide me through.
I think of times there before,
Moments of joy,
And our first kiss,
And I nearly fall.
I know that I'm amiss,
For not giving up,
I see all of my wrongs lined up in my head.
And I wondered curiously how you felt
When I gave up hope,
When I said I love you,
And I wondered how you felt
When I said au du.
But even thought you're gone
I want you to know,
That I still miss you.
