Chapter 1 - Empty

I feel like I'm walking on broken glass
I'm too afraid to move
I'm scared of blight
But then I see your hand
As you guide me through
I'm afraid that if I make the wrong move
I might lose you
My fears takeover
Your hand is lost in the darkness
I never want to say goodbye
But with that last tear
I'll say 'don't go!'
If you leave me
A pain will grow
and soon my fear
will takeover my soul
There will be nothing left
but an empty shell
Life will go on
But my heart won't live to tell.
