Chapter 1 - Do You Know Me?

Did you know me?
Did you see my face?
Did you hear my dream?
Did you feel my touch?
Did you love me?
These words are my cry to you
Did you understand me
when I told you I love you?
Did you feel my soul in our embrace?
Did you feel sympathy when I cried for you?
Did you listen to my voice in the calling wind?
These questions haunt me at the sight of you.
Did you listen to me?
i hear these words drown
You turn you head.
I've already known.
You've never looked at my face,
It is but agony.
You've never heard my dream,
My fate of testimony.
You've never felt my touch,
You just drifted away.
As I say this to you I know this may be our end.
Did you truely love me, I ask.
These words I'd never lend.
I walk away to never look back,
Our embrace was nothing,
As were my tears.
You've never looked up to see
After all these years.....
