Chapter 1 - killing her
controlling, manipulating,
falling, precipitating,
the elements, old and wise
control earth, its ground its skies
they have power great and strong
but the elements life isn't long
to be lost is wrong, they continue with their song
of sorrow and grief, with disbelief
they shudder at our impudence
on the mother of all life
the earth is dying
and we're helping in strife.
