Chapter 1 - Did it have to...
Chapter 1 - Did it have to...
It's hard, on my own, here without you.
When life gets me down, I fill my thoughts
with images of your face.
But, it gets me down more,
because, Dreams fill me with false hope
No matter how hard I try,
I'll never get you back.
Dreaming of your face,
Dreaming of leaving this place,
to find you, to find me.
On broken wings I try to escape my hurting heart,
my back breaking from its heavy burden.
Only to fall back, a desperate mess.
If I had the chance to forget you,
I wouldn't let myself,
I'd rather die than let myself erase a precious memory
of ours.
Even though we only had moments...
I'll treasure them forever...
It's hard, here on my own, without you...
my broken wings, my heavy heart...
I can't let you go, truth is... I love you[/b]
