Chapter 1 - I Promise
I Promise
Although everything might seem terrible,
And your lost, confused, and miserable,
Remember my friend,
I'll be there for you,
And I'll never let you down.
I will be there in the hardest of times,
Even though I might not be the only one,
Standing by you through the thick and thin,
And when you will be shunned.
For everyone has their highs and lows,
That's just the way this world goes.
But we will be standing together my friend,
And there is no telling how far we can go.
Remember I will be standing here,
When you need encouragement and comfort,
Because this is what I promise to you,
I'll give you my life, my love, and my heart.

Just a little poem I felt like writing. I was thinking about my friends when I wrote this. I don't think it's good but I think its decent and I love my friends (not that way) so I wanted to dedicate this little poem to them, even though none of them have an account on FAC. Tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

I feel the same type of love (Family love) for my closest friends, so I understand and I like this poem. Very nice. ^_^
