Why are you writing?

Why are you reading?

If words mean nothing,

Then why do you listen?



“I love you”

“I hate you”

Why should it matter?

It pains you to hear them

It pains you to see them

Why do you pay attention?



“No, you're not”

“No, you're wrong”

“Why are you faking?”

“Why are you saying that?”

They ask “who are you”?

When they make you ask the same thing



He says don't listen to them

I know you're not like that

Don't listen to those words

You are not a fake

You're wonderful the way you are

Why do you let them bring you down?



You can't express this in words

This feeling is too great

Symbols, letters

They rearrange

Yet they make you so naïve

Why do you believe?
