can you see me, Daddy?
my wings are breaking but
you can still see them
Aren't I your lovely flower
blooming in darkness?
don't you hear my voice, Daddy?
I'm singing for you
the melody is slowing and
faltering with each breath
But am I still your songbird?
you don't know me, Daddy
but I have tears inside for you
if you could see my scars
I could bleed for you, Daddy
if you would listen
if you could see me
would you stop me from fading?
my faith lies in emptiness
do you love me, Daddy?

This actually made me cry.... It relates to me and my Dad.... I miss him, I never talk to him... never tell him what's happening..... I bleed for him........
