Chapter 1 - a calling

as the night grows near
and my shadow grows tall
and I stand here
for no reason at all

I take a breath of fresh air
and i start to daze
I fall to where
the cows once grazed

I lay and a rain drop falls into my eye
as do the stars appear in the sky
it was as if a blessing from the sky
as if telling me to cry

so I cry for the blessing in the sky
now I think i know why
as i think of her well
i say "If I could see her it sure would be swell".
