Eyes peering out
Of the shadows in the night
You're looking for the door
That leads into the light
A glimmer in the corner
Of your unseeing eyes
A hidden room that holds
A thousand truthful lies
Drifting alone
In the sands of time
Losing a grip
On all that is mine
Letting out
That one last breath
Falling into the arms
Of a welcoming death
