Chapter 1 - the darkness
Chapter 1 - the darkness
i smile down
a ray of hope shines upon your face
then my sight fades
and you with it
i am plunged into slumber
never to wake on my own
nightmares haunt me
they eat at my heart
they tear at my soul
i cant find respute
no end to this eternal battle
and then
as i struggle in the dark
she pulls me up
then i see again
i cant even speak
i know you were there
watching as i fell
and thankfully
you were there
