The Voiceless Request



Let me try to explain,

Why I am the way I am.

Why I may have an opinion,

But not a voice.

Why I may fall,

But will stay where I land.

Why I will follow,

When others know I should lead.

Can you ever truly understand,

The complexity of the human mind, heart, soul?

Seeing things from a different perspective,

Allowing yourself to be overwhelmed by creation,

Overwhelmed by simplicity, beauty, life.

Trying to comprehend the disasters of life,

Trying to realize the magnitude of celebration.

The human soul is a remarkable thing.

One minute joyful,

The next in sorrow.

One day strong and in an instant crumbled.

Words are just as questionable as the human soul.

One word can be meaningless,

Adding a few adds to the complexity,

Creating sentences of strength,

Sympathy,

Destruction,

Anger.

Understanding one person,

Could solve one of the many questions of life.

It could clarify why some things are done,

While others are unfinished.

Why some may live,

And others may die.

Facts are all we have,

Understanding life takes collaboration.

To talk to the same person everyday is uneventful, uneducational.

To talk to a new person every day is new,

Exciting,

Worth doing,

Worth living for.

Live life to the fullest and one may learn these things.

Only the voiceless could know this.

Therefore we must not act as they do,

But act as what they wish.

Keep your soul strong, have a voice and speak up.
