Emotion





Feelings to great to hold inside

Are what's eating at my being now.

To see you;

Causes my entire body to shake.

Both inside and out,

As if something is moving inside of me.

To hear your voice;

Sounds like listening to the ocean flowing,

Slowly

Gently

Peacefully.

When you speak my name;

The most indescribable feeling arises.

A shot of warmth

A surge of happiness

A feeling of belonging to something

A sense of purpose.

I can't explain why I feel the way I feel.

Nor can I explain why I am the way I am.

I can't change what's happened in your life,

Anymore than I can change what has happened in mine.

All I can do is hope that one day;

We can look back on this,

And think to ourselves,

It was for the best;

And the best was created out of it.
