I look at pictures of your past
When I was looking I saw…
I saw, something that didn’t last
you’ve lost the sparkle in your eyes
you hide behind a smile
you know I see through your disguise
You we’re happy then, happier than now…don’t deny
But somehow, I see it’s there when you talk of her life
So tell me all about her. to know and to see your sparkle in your eyes again
Don’t stop please go on, your eyes are like my therapy
I’m an addict to you
Time in between was just a dream
I’m mad, illogical, uncontrolled
Someday I desire you look at pictures of me
And see to your surprise that
I’ve lost my shine al along…
But it’s time to carry on.
