i know that i'm not perfect
but sister let me try
please don't lock me out again
tell me why you cry

i can be your hero
let me wipe away your tears
tell me little sister
let me know what are your fears

i know that moms no longer here
and dads at work somewhere
but if you start to feel alone
remember that i care

now little sis you're growing up
and i'm so proud of you
you'll always be my family
and i'll always love you too

i know you think you must be brave
you think you must be strong
but it's okay to let it out
admitting you were wrong

now there's a smile we can't see
and a secret dream you hold
but please don't try and hide gaz
don't let your heart grow cold

now sister dear this is a first
you hugging me so tight
my coat is dampened with your tears
but i tell you it's alright

now gaz this is a side of you
i'm glad you let me see
and you will show the world one day
the person you can be
