Claire: *gives Harry a small smile, squeezing his hand slightly*

Key: *keeps her arm linked with Todd's, keeping well away from the others* >_____>;;

Mia: *gives altodd the tiniest hint of a smile in return. she doesn't try to move away from Blood Puppet, nor does she try to push him away*

*They walk for hours, up until the sun starts to set. Then the group stops once more*

Todd: I miss the cities. And living in them. <:/

Harry: We can't do that yet, Todd. There's still a war that needs ending.

Lucifer: ... Mh.

Altodd: *Leaves to take a walk in the woods alone*

Blood Puppet: *Watches him leave with a snort*

Mia: *lightly elbows Blood Puppet, then goes to sit down against a tree* ...

Key: *flops down on the grass with a sigh* I hope we find Occulta soon...

Claire: At the rate we're going.... *shakes her head*

Blood Puppet: ... *He sits down next to Mia*

Lucifer: We WILL find him. WHEN we'll find him is uncertain, however.

Todd: He seems to know where WE are. We're getting attacked by his soldiers WAY too often for comfort. <:/

Harry: We've killed them so far without any casualties. I think we can handle ourselves.

Mia: They had a CANNON this morning. What ELSE can they throw at us?

Claire: *just sighs* we should all just get some rest while we can. :/

Lucifer: *He sighs and sits down against a tree*

Mia: *sighs, and leans her head back against the tree, closing her eyes*

Claire: *glances around at the others then out into the forest before nodding at Harry, hoping he'll catch the hint*

Todd: *Lies down next to Key and kisses her cheek*

Harry: *glances at the others, then follows Claire*

Key: *nuzzles him affectionately, smiling a bit*

Mia: *tries to sleep*

Claire: *leads Harry out deeper into the woods, and once she feels they're out far enough, she stops. she turns and gives him a sultry smile*

Todd: *rubs her shoulder with a hand when he nuzzles her back* <3

Harry: *He happily kisses Claire just as deeply, rubbing her back as he does so*

Key: 'night... *is asleep in moments, a soft smile still on her face*

Claire: mmm... *breaks the kiss, trailing her lips down his jaw to his neck as her hands try to open his shirt*

Todd: *He cuddles with her. He closes his eyes, and later he falls asleep*

Claire: If you say so... *slowly sinks her fangs into his neck, drinking very little at a time, drawing everything out purposely. her hands still work to unbutton his shirt*

Altodd: *creeps away from everyone, a bit farther into the forest, feeling a clawed hand grabbing at his heart and piercing his lungs. It's hard to breathe when the serial killer boyfriend of the woman he likes correctly suspects him of doing so*

Mia: If he had any ill intentions, he probably would have done something already. He's had plenty of opportunities to do so. He's not going to do anything.

Altodd: *grimaces. He wipes away the blood from the wounds that have healed with his hand*

Key: *glances back at Blood Puppet, then down at Altodd. she speaks quietly* You shouldn't have let him bait you like that...

Mia: *huffs, then rests her head on her knees again, unamused*

Todd: *He places his hand on Key's cheek, gently rubbing it with his thumb*

Key: *leans her head into his hand, closing her eyes and sighing contentedly*

Todd: *He kisses Key again, rubbing the side of her face with his thumb*

Mia: *a bit more quietly* I meant challenging him like that for no reason!

Key: *kisses him back, combing through his hair with her claws*

Blood Puppet: ... There was a reason.

Claire: *sighs, resting her head on Harry's shoulder* ...

Altodd: *Keeps firing his arrows into the tree, thinking more and more about Mia but refusing to look back at her. He can't get himself distracted by her -- He knows Blood Puppet would kill him*

Todd: You don't HAVE to miss this. I'm always here, Key. <:P

Everyone: *Resting*

Mia: *keeps watching, casting nervous glances at Blood Puppet every so often. She didn't want him to get upset with Altodd...*

Claire: *resting*

Key: *smiles, but doesn't say anything. she puts an arm around his shoulders, hugging him closer, nuzzling into his hair*

Altodd: *He's aware of ALL the issues he'd have if he were to get closer to Mia. He understands that his other self like Shidako. He is also burdened with grief for Sam. Altodd misses her greatly. He doesn't know if he can take the pain of losing someone again. Furthermore, he isn't entirely sure if Mia likes him back, or if he really DOES like Mia in the first place. Altodd wonders if his feelings are just getting confused after all this time in Concordia. In the Between World. Is it even possible to snap twice?*

Todd: *He kisses Key's neck, hugging her as well* Mmm I love you.

Everyone: *Resting*

Mia: *brings her legs up to her chest, and wraps her arms around them, resting her chin on her knees. she really isn't sure what she's feeling about Altodd, but there was SOMETHING there...*

Claire: *rests*

Key: *hugs him with both arms, kissing the top of his head* I love you too. <3

Altodd: *With a sigh, he collects his arrows and puts his bow away, holding himself against the tree with a hand and wiping the sweat from his brow with another. Altodd is certain that if there's one thing he can't do, it's get involved with Mia. For his sake, and for hers*

Todd: *gently pushes her down onto the grass and lies down beside her, cuddling with her* <3

Everyone: *resting*

Mia: *decides to close her eyes and rest. hopefully this will just blow over soon...*

Key: ! *is pushed over, and cuddled with. She doesn't mind. she snuggles back, putting an arm over him and hugging him close, nuzzling into his shoulder* <3

Todd: *he runs his fingers through her hair, happy to be with her* <3

Blood Puppet: I've been wondering how good you really are with that sword. You know, since you've been teaching Mia and everything.

Blood Puppet: Altodd, my dear companion, I challenge you to a sword fight.

Key: *is temporarily distracted from Todd, looking over at the others curiously*

Blood Puppet: I was quite clear, Altodd. A sword fight. Between you and me. Your giant, heavy, slow and clunky thing... versus my katana.

Altodd: ... I'm not too willing to get into a fight with you.

Blood Puppet: ... Are you scared? Maybe I should be the one to teach Mia, then, if her teacher can't even face a one-on-one sword fight with --

Altodd: Let's go. >:/ *he turns and grabs his sword*

Blood Puppet: ... >:)

Key: !!! *doesn't really like where this is going*

Mia: D:>! *watches intently, hoping neither of them will wind up getting hurt*

Altodd: *steps forward* I'm ready when you are. >:/

Blood Puppet: *Gets his katana, then runs and slashes at Altodd*

Altodd: *Parries the horizontal slash with one of the opposite direction, then cuts diagonally*

Blood Puppet: *Spins away to avoid it, moving to Altodd's left and stabbing*

Altodd: D8< ! *swings his sword upwards to avoid getting jabbed* We're not KILLING each other! D:<

Blood Puppet: Any wounds we receive can be healed by Key or Lucifer! Let's have fun with this! >8D

Altodd: >:/

Blood Puppet: *strikes at him again*

Altodd: *barely dodges by sidestepping, then steps forward, grabs Blood Puppet's arm, and roundhouse kicks him away*

Blood Puppet: *Stumbles, then gets back into a ready stance* Ooohh... I see how it is now. >8D

Lucifer: ...

Todd: *Is a bit worried. He glances at Key*

Claire: D;>

Mia: *is constantly glancing between them, biting her nails out of nervousness for the both of them*

Key: *returns Todd's concerned look, then turns her attention back to the fight*

Blood Puppet: *unleashes a flurry of rapid attacks*

Altodd: *isn't able to block every single one, and ends up getting slashed several times. He only finds the pain arousing, though he hates that he does* Ghh... Hheh-heheh-hhghh...!

Blood Puppet: *Follows this up by stabbing him in the groin*

Altodd: *Cries out from this, and ends up getting kicks away by Blood Puppet. He falls to the ground, onto his back*

Blood Puppet: *Puts a foot on Altodd's chest and holds his katana to the other swordsman's throat* I win. *He then gets off of Altodd and walks back over to the tree he was resting against*

Altodd: *slowly sits up and clutches where's he's been stabbed. Blood snakes out through his fingers as well as out of the cuts Blood Puppet gave him on his body. More scars to add to the collection*

Todd: D:>

Harry: *Is glad that at least no one is dead*

Lucifer: ...

Mia: *tries very hard to hide her concern, but fails rather miserably* D8>!?

Key: !!! *quickly gets up and runs over to him, kneeling down next to him* Okay, this is going to feel really weird, so just hold still...! *places her hands on his torso, and uses her demekarr to repair him*

Blood Puppet: *grins to himself, satisfied*

Key: ? *looks up in time to catch Altodd looking away, and raises her eyebrows at Todd*

Mia: *doesn't notice him looking--however, she DOES look over at him as soon as he's looked away*

Todd: *Elbows Key* 8D !!

Altodd: *wraps his shirt around his waist and puts his shoulder pads on*

Lucifer and Blood Puppet: *Rest*

Key: *waves Todd's arm away, shaking her head* 8I

Mia: *discreetly watches him do this* ....

Altodd: *After he puts his bracers on, he decides to test out his new bow by firing arrows at a tree. He wants to get a feel for it in a more peaceful setting. He's incredibly focused while doing this, holding his breath for each shot. The level of concentration he puts into it is especially evident in his blue eyes, which seemed to have turned steely and cold*

Blood Puppet and Lucifer: *rest*

Harry: ... *sits down against a tree*

Claire: *sits next to Harry* ...

Mia: *sits down along with the others, quietly watching Altodd* ...

Key: *whispers to Todd* I'd be as excited about this as you are if it wasn't because Mia and Blood Puppet are still very much a thing!

Altodd: *Just fires arrows into the tree, then goes back to retrieve them, then starts firing them again*

Todd: ... Ah. D:>

Everyone: *Resting*

Mia: *just watches* ...

Key: *still whispering* Now you see the problem...

Altodd: *looks back over to Mia, catching her looking at him* ! *He quickly looks away*

Altodd: ... *He goes back to firing his arrows at the tree, now wondering about Mia*

Todd: *sits down next to Key and leans his head onto her shoulder* You know, I like us. I like us being together like this.

Mia: *looks back over when she hears another arrow embed itself in the tree, telling herself that she won't get caught this time...*

Claire: *rests*

Key: I like us like this too... *leans her head against his* I kinda missed it.

Blood Puppet: *Helps defend Mia*

Harry: CLAIRE! D8> *Feels awful for being so useless*

Todd: *attacks the enemies as best as he can with his injury*

Altodd: *manages to reach his sword. He puts his new bow in its sheath and swings the blade into another swordsman's side, cutting into his vital organs. He then kicks the attacker off, the sword sliding painfully against the fatal wound* That's better. >:/

Lucifer: We're about done. There's four of these soldiers left, plus -- *gets hit by a cannonball and is sent crashing through a tree*

Mia: !!?!?? Holy shoot!! D8

Key: *slashes a guy's throat open, then takes a slash to her side immediately afterwards* !!

Claire: *slams an elf against a tree, and bites into his neck, drinking him dry*

Todd: KEY! D8> *runs over to her*

Altodd: Don't worry, he can't die! Better him than one of us! D:< *stabs a a soldier* One more.

Blood Puppet: *KILLS*


Harry: *is glad the fight is over*

Key: *is already healing* I-I'm fine--! Someone has to deal with whoever's running the cannon...!!

Claire: *drops the lifeless body of the elf as soon as she's done drinking from it* ...

Todd: Okay, who here's not severely inj --

Altodd: *climbs up a tree and leaps on the branches in order to find and kill the cannon-user*

Harry: You know, for a guy who didn't get enough sleep, Altodd's kind of kicking @$$. Then again, he was doing that since he arrived. Kicking @$$ with a completely broken arm, which probably had an infection, while he was starving and exhausted. :/

Todd: I think it's because he's so serious. :P

Blood Puppet: *with a sigh he walks over to find and help Lucifer*

Mia: Jeez, he really did all that?

Key: *is nearly done healing* Yep... hey, Todd come 'ere, I think I can heal you.

Claire: *pulls the arrow out of her shoulder, hissing a bit. fortunately, it hadn't gone in too deep*

Todd: You're going to heal me? You mean with you squiggle-monster? :/ *approaches Key*

Harry: It's a demekarr, Todd.

Todd: But if I call them "squiggle-monsters", they're less scary! =^^=

Harry: ... Well, I'm sure that a year ago, Altodd would have agreed with you. |:/

Key: *laughs a little bit* Yes, with the squiggle monster. *puts her hand on Todd's side, and a little blue tentacle passes from her hand to his wound. it heals quickly, pushing the head of the arrow out as it does so*

Mia: *is just getting more and more curious about Altodd the more they talk about him* ...

Claire: *holds her hand over her shoulder* We should probably get moving as soon as the others get back. We don't need them to find us again.

Harry: Good plan.

*a loud scream is heard through the forest*

*from further into the forest, a cannon firing is heard*

Cannonball: *whips through the trees and breaks into the one right near Altodd*

Altodd: *is woken up, immediately sitting upright, startled* BUH! HUH - WHO -- WHASS-HAPPENING?? DDDDDDDDD8

Todd: *has a similar reaction* ANOTHER ATTACK!? D8

Harry: D8< They have cannons now??

Soldiers: *attack the group*

Mia: !!!! *pulls out her sword, praying she'll still remember everything she was taught*

Key: D8< *runs a soldier through with her claws, then slashes at another that comes too close*

Claire: *pulls out her crossbow and starts shooting, getting one soldier between the eyes*

Altodd: *quickly getting to his feet and getting his pants on, he looks for his sword and realizes how far away it is from him. As others attack, he quickly grabs a bow and a quiver of arrows and uses this as a means of offense, drawing the arrow back - his muscles tensing up from the strain - and firing it right at a charging soldier, the sharp head cutting through the man's jugular vein and leaving him on his knees, bleeding to death. Altodd then holds his forearm where he's been burned by the bow. He knows he's a bit out of practice* D:< ...

Lucifer: *throws fireballs with a quickness and fierceness. When a soldier gets too close, he smacks them away with one of his wings*

Todd: *cuts through soldiers with his claws. He cries out in pain when an arrow embeds itself in between two of his ribs*

Blood Puppet: *slashes through soldiers easily, but barely manages to dodge another cannonball shot* !!!

Harry: *being one-armed and unable to control his demekarr, Harry is the only one who can't really fight* D8 !!!

Claire: *stays close to Harry to protect him, starling a soldier with a furious hiss before shooting him in the chest*

Key: TODD! D8> *her eyes glow faintly as Mehnit tries to grab hold of her, but no no no she won't lose control, not now. She stays close to Todd, deflecting swords and arrows with her claws, but already starting to feel fatigue*

Mia: *is defending herself pretty decently, but she can't really do much in terms of offense. she's managed to dodge a few arrows, but many of those have managed to nick her arms, one of them narrowly missing her face*

Harry: *stays close to Claire for protection* D:< ...

Altodd: *catches an arrow before it hits him, then pulls it back in his bow and fires it back at its owner. The elf's scream is quickly cut short when it hits his open mouth* >:(

Todd: *breaks the arrow off, leaving the head in his rib cage. He attempts to keep fighting while injured*

Blood Puppet: *Runs over to help Mia* Need a hand, Love?

Lucifer: *breaks a soldier's neck*

Mia: That would be helpful, thanks. D;

Key: *is incredibly confused as to why she was wearing out so quickly--she wasn't even working that hard! she barely dodges a sword to the throat, stabbing her attacker in the gut*

Claire: *protects Harry as best as she can--she cries out when she takes an arrow to the shoulder* --!

Lucifer: *Nods a little to Mia*

Todd: *asleep*

Altodd: *enjoys being there, and actually ends up falling asleep like that*

Mia: *rests her head back against the tree, running her hands through Altodd's fur until she too falls asleep*

Key: ... *realizes she won't be getting any sleep tonight. ah well. she rests her head back and closes her eyes anyway*

The Next Morning

Altodd: *Lies face-down right near Mia, having transformed back as soon as the moon set and the sun began to rise. His head rests on its side and his face is turned towards Mia. There is a barely noticeable smile on his face*

Todd: *asleep*

Harry: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: *asleep*

Lucifer: *Not* ...

Mia: *is still asleep, her hand still on Altodd's head, fingers tangled up in his hair*

Claire: *asleep*

Key: *is awake, and she's only just noticed that Altodd's turned back* o_o! *gets up and retrieves his clothes as quietly as possible, then goes back over towards him and tries to prod him awake*

Altodd: *Is completely unconscious and unable to be woken up*

Lucifer: *smirks, amused*

People: *asleep*

Key: *huffs, and throws his clothes over him, trying to cover him up a bit so Mia doesn't wake up to see him stark-naked next to her*

Mia: *asleep*

Claire: *asleep*

Altodd: *Remains completely asleep*

Lucifer: *grins a little*

Everyone: *asleep*

Key: *notices Lucifer, and sticks her tongue out at him, going over to sit next to Todd*

Mia: *takes a little longer to wake up, and when she glances down, she's a bit surprised to find a very human Altodd laying on the ground next to her* !! *pulls her hand away from him, scooting away an inch or two* 8I

Claire: *asleep*

Altodd: *Isn't disturbed by this and doesn't wake up*

No One Else: *Is awake*

Lucifer: *His grin shrinks back to a smirk*

Mia: ... *relaxes a bit, noticing that he isn't awake at all. that makes it a bit less awkward. just a bit. she can't help but stare at what WASN'T covered up, though, his back, his shoulders, his arms. she had to admit, the guy was pretty well-built... oh, what was she THINKING, she shouldn't be OGLING the guy, that just wasn't right! she averts her gaze, focusing on Blood Puppet instead, wondering when he was going to wake up...*

Key: ...

Claire: *asleep*

Altodd: *remains asleep*

Todd: *Waking up* Muhh... S'it morning already? D;>

Harry: *asleep*

Lucifer: *stretches and refolds his wings*

Blood Puppet: *he stirs* ...?

Key: Yyyep.

Mia: *notices Blood Puppet moving, and quickly gets up to sit by him--didn't need him to get the wrong idea, no sir*

Claire: *waking up* ...?

Blood Puppet: *fully comes to, though he's a bit dazed* ... Mia...? What happened...?

Todd: Uuuugh... DX

Harry: *Asleep*

Altodd: *asleep*

Lucifer: ...

Mia: Well, Altodd turned into a werewolf last night and you freaked out so Lucifer put you to sleep. :I

Key: <:P

Claire: ...? *nuzzles back until Harry's shoulder, waiting for him to wake up*

Harry: *wakes up from this* ...?

Blood Puppet: I-I -- H-he what?? D8

Lucifer: *Gives Blood Puppet a little wave*

Blood Puppet: D8 ??

Todd: Well, I guess we wait for everyone to be up and ready. :/

Altodd: *asleep*

Mia: Yeah. He can do that.

Claire: ! *smiles at him* Good morning.

Key: ...Aaand, all that leaves is Altodd.

Todd: That'll take forever. He's a werewolf and all, so maybe in a few hours. DX

Altodd: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: ... Can't we just... Wake him up?

Lucifer: You can try. I doubt anything will work.

Harry: ... 'Morning. <:)

Claire: *kisses him, then nuzzles his cheek*

Key: Oh okay, that means you can go back to sleep, Todd. :P

Mia: ...It really takes that long?

Harry: No, that can't be it.

Todd: ... Well, okay. :/

Lucifer: ...

Blood Puppet: *He lets go of Mia* ... I-I'm better now...

Claire: ... I think it's about time we all got some rest. :/

Altodd: *enjoys this and nuzzles Key*

Mia: *sits down with Blood Puppet, leaning against his shoulder*

Claire: *sits down against another tree*

Key: *nuzzles him back, happy to do so if it keeps him from mauling everyone else to death*

Harry: *sits down next to Claire. It doesn't take long for him to fall asleep considering the long day they had*

Todd: *falls asleep quickly as well*

Blood Puppet: ...

Lucifer: ...

Altodd: *licks her cheek, then suddenly sprints away from Key, back to the group*

Claire: *also falls asleep rather quickly*

Mia: *is out in minutes, still a bit tired out from the sparring session the night before*

Key: !!!!!!! *chases after him*

Altodd: *heads all the way back and arrives where the group is. He walks over and sits by Mia, this time choosing to ignore Blood Puppet*

Blood Puppet: *SCOOTS THE HELL AWAY FROM ALTODD IN SILENT HORROR*

Lucifer: !

Mia: *falls over due to lack of support, and wakes up with a start--and is even more startled when she sees the giant werewolf looming over her* D8?!

Key: *catches up to them, and relaxes when she sees that he isn't really attacking anyone* X(

Altodd: *In his own dull curiosity, he sniffs at Mia, his muzzle inches away from her face*

Blood Puppet: *stays far away from Altodd*

Lucifer: :/

Everyone Else: *Asleep*

Mia: *sits there, completely frozen in fear* D8 ...

Key: *watches him carefully* ...

Altodd: *Decides to then give Mia a small lick on her cheek*

Blood Puppet: DDDD8

Lucifer: :/

Everyone: *Sleeping*

Key: !

Mia: !! ... *hesitantly reaches up to pet him*

Lucifer: !

Altodd: *He relaxes and closes his eyes when she does, tail stub wagging a bit*

Everyone: *sleeping*

Key: *relaxes*

Mia: *allows herself a small smile, and continues to pet him*

Altodd: *Lies down, still relaxed, tail stub wagging a little faster*

Blood Puppet: Mmuuhh...! DDDDDDD8

Lucifer: ... *He walks over to Blood Puppet and puts a hand on his head* ... Sleep until the morning.

Blood Puppet: D;> ... *he passes out*

Mia: *looks up, over at Blood Puppet and Lucifer, and mouths a quiet "thank you" before turning her attention back to the werewolf--who has apparently gone right back to acting like a puppy* ... <:P

Key: *is now pretty confident that she's right. she smiles for a moment, then remembers Blood Puppet, and how disapproving of Altodd he is... and realizes that this may not end well. she sits down next to Todd, quietly watching Altodd and Mia*

Altodd: *He sniffs her hand, and, upon finding the scent familiar, he leans in and licks Key's cheek*

Harry: *sighs in relief*

Lucifer: ...

Key: *smiles a bit in relief, and reaches up to rub his neck* There we go. Nothing to be angry at. :)

Mia: *relaxes a bit--but only a bit*

Claire: *is still a bit tense* ...

Altodd: *Leans himself into her hand a bit* Mrr...

Blood Puppet: *Still incredibly terrified* DDDDDDDDDDDDDD8

Lucifer: ...

Key: *reaches up with her other hand to scratch behind his ears* ...you guys should probably find somewhere to sleep, i'll keep him busy for now...

Mia: *nods slowly*

Claire: ...

Altodd: *He can sense Blood Puppet's fear, and it's then that he looks over at the man and growls*

Blood Puppet: *Presses himself against a tree* !!!!!!!!

Everyone: !!!!!!

Key: ..!! *tries to gently tug Altodd away* ignooore hiiiim...!!

Mia: D8 ... *slowly lowers her hand to her sword*

Claire: !!

Altodd: *Pulls away from Key and roars at Blood Puppet, saliva flung as he does so*

Blood Puppet: *Lets out an involuntary cry of terror*

Altodd: *IS ABOUT TO ATTACK HIM!!*

Todd: !!!!

Harry: !!!!

Lucifer: *does nothing* ...

Mia: !!! *pulls her sword out and steps between Blood Puppet and the werewolf, pointing the sword at him. her hands are shaking slightly*

Everyone: !!!!!!!!

Altodd: *He stops in his tracks and stares - just stares - at Mia for a while. His eyes go over the features of her face and recognize her. Yes, Altodd recognizes Mia. He backs away from her, whimpering a little, then runs off to her left, away from everyone*

Harry: !!! S-SOMEONE SHOULD GO AFTER HIM! D8

Todd: Key, you're the only one here - besides Mia, apparently - who he won't kill! Go get him before he does something! D8>

Lucifer: ... Heh.

Mia: *lets out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding, and lowers her sword, tip hitting the ground with a light thump* hoh god... D8

Key: *was a bit caught off-guard by Altodd's lack of attacking* W-What--OH! Y-Yeah! *runs off after the werewolf*

Claire: ...That was a bit too close.

Harry: ... Why didn't Altodd attack her?

Todd: Maybe because sheee's... hhiis... student? That's illegal, you know. Teachers attacking students.

Harry: |:/

Todd: *shrug*

Blood Puppet: *glomps Mia from behind, still shaking* OH MY GOD, oh my god, oh my god...!

Key: *chases after Altodd. She has to wonder though... the only reason Altodd never attacked her was because they were really close... was it possible that Altodd was starting to develop feelings for Mia as well...?*

Lucifer: I wonder how Key believes she'll catch a creature that runs faster than a horse.
