Todd: WE CAN'T, YOUR CITY WILL KILL US! COULD WE PLEASE SEE THE WARLORD OUT BY THE LAKE? WE DON'T WANT TO GET CAUGHT!

Guard: ... We'll see! >:/ *he goes inside the city to speak with the Warlord*

Todd: *waiting* This is gonna be difficult. <:/

Su'yola: You're only just realizing this?

Todd: I mean emotionally difficult. I don't want to kill anyone unless that "anyone" includes Altodd.

Todd: I horrible, horrible person who also happens to be me from an alternate universe and it's HIS FAULT that Key cheated on me... >:(

Su'yola: I see... how about this, then--pretend all our foes are Altodd. Imagine they all wear his face. They will become SO much easier for you to kill, I think...

Warlord: *he comes out with his whole army, weapons ready* Yes, strangers? >:(

Todd: We'd like to speak to you, but we can't do it here. We might be heard. Can you meet us at the lake near here?

Warlord: *is suspicious but fully believes that his army can easily kill the two new people* ... Very well.

Su'yola: *pales slightly at the sight of the army. she turns, and leads them away, towards the lake*

*they are led to the lake, which sparkles in the light*

Army: *avoids it*

Walter: So what is this you must tell me?

Todd: *looks around cautiously* Could you come closer so I can whisper in your... pointed ear?

Warlord: ... *he moves a bit closer, clutching his sword*

Todd: ... Water is wet.

Warlord: D:< ! *draws his sword*

Todd: *quickly grabs the Warlord by his throat and chucks him into the lake*

Warlord: !!! *when he hits the water, steam comes off the lake and the Warlord screams in agony*

Todd: ... That was easy. :/

Army: *there is a huge uproar in their rage*

Su'yola: *backs up towards the lake* Be ready to do that a thousand more times...

Todd: ... You know what? I don't even fracking care if they burn me. That's what the water's for. YOU WERE RIGHT. IMAGINING THEM WITH ALTODD'S FACE REALLY HELPS! D8< *he charges right into the group of fiery demonic beings and starts slashing at them carelessly* NRAAAAUUUUUGH!! DDDD8<

Su'yola: !!? *is caught off-guard by his sudden ferocity. she stays by the lake, taunting soldiers closer and shoving, tripping, throwing them in the lake*

Army: *the ones that go after Su'yola are sent to the lake, where the water burns them like acid, and they die a horrible death*

Todd: *he allows his rage to take him over and he cuts through the army like a knife, not once giving a single soldier the chance the hit back. He screams, SCREAMS angrily at them all, each one becoming a dead mess on the floor within seconds*

Su'yola: *looks over at Todd whenever she gets the opportunity, still quite surprised by his sudden rage-fueled rampage. she had to be careful not to simply stop and watch. she continues luring soldiers to the lake*

*they walk until they reach the edge of Fire City, a boiling hot land of lava and flames*

Su'yola: *is just as apprehensive* ...We are definitely not coming any closer. *looks back, in the direction of the lake* ...How will we get them to follow us hat far...?

Todd: Threatening them? Telling them we know shoot?

Su'yola: Like WHAT? We can't even go NEAR them without bursting into flames. D:/

Todd: Like, we can pretend we're renegades from Life City and tell them we know weaknesses and crap.

Su'yola: Hmm. But would they send their entire ARMY out? Because if they bring us in there, it's going to be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get back out on our own.

Todd: Well, we can't survive in there, and we can tell them that. Maybe it'll be a quicker way to get to the Warlord.

Su'yola: ... Fine. It's worth trying.

Su'yola: *notices Todd's expression, and sneers* What? You knew what the job was before we left.

Blood Puppet: Quite.

Todd: *shuffles his feet awkwardly*

Occulta: Were they holding anything of value?

Su'yola: *shakes her head* Nothing. We think they may have been trying to gather information for themselves.

Occulta: Ah well... one step closer to eliminate those flaming DEVILS, now isn't it?

Blood Puppet: Indeed.

Todd: *quietly* I'll just... um... go to my room, then...

Blood Puppet: Oh hold on, allow me to hand over your pay. *gives Todd a small sack of coins* Spend them well.

Occulta: ... Such a shame that he's so... DIFFERENT... isn't it, Su'yola?

Su'yola: *had glances at Todd as he left, and her attention snaps back to Occulta when her name is mentioned* ...It IS a shame. But he will learn, in time.
