Todd: *he growls back a little at Shidako, then walks over to Altodd*

Harry: *is ready to take ACTION!* D8 !!

Altodd: *quite frozen still* D8

Todd: *hisses at Altodd* ... I'll spare you, you WHORE... for now. *he then walks off to his room*

Key: *waits until he's gone. her voice is tiny* H-He didn't mean that...

Shidako: *relaxes when he leaves* ....

Harry: Don't apologize for him, Key. He can't act like this. He needs to learn not to.

Key: This is MY FAULT, though, you can't blame HIM for this...!

Shidako: ... *stands up, and leaves the room, closing the door behind her--she's a bit surprised to see Key there* !

Key: *puts a finger to her lips*

Todd: *he stands up, though he still only goes up to Harry's shoulders* ... Harry. My heart was broken yesterday. Shattered, I guess, is a more appropriate word.

Harry: ... But you were going to kill Altodd because of it.

Todd: He is the one who needs to die. Not Key. If I kill him, everything will go back to normal.

Harry: You truly believe that?

Todd: ... ...

Key: *listens, standing eerily still*

Shidako: *isn't quite sure whether she should stay or not... she gives Key a tiny wave, and goes to find Altodd*

Harry: ... You know, it's been a really long time since I've seen you truly HAPPY.

Todd: ...

Harry: Hell, you were still smiling and joking around during a zombie apocalypse.

Todd: ...

Harry: ... You... you found LOVE through all those screams, and all that violence, and all those flying bullets. We BOTH found love through it, Todd...

Todd: ... Claire never cheated on you...

Harry: Key still loves you more than anything.

Todd: ... Why should I listen to you...?

Harry: Because I've been your friend since elementary school. Because I know you. I know BOTH of you. I know that Key would still love you no matter what she, or YOU does.

Shidako: *lowers her voice* ...Altodd was willing to let her go when you came. If he had STOLEN her, he wouldn't have done that. If THEY didn't want to be with US, they wouldn't have STAYED here... They would have ran.

Todd: ... How do you know he's not STILL cheating on you?? DB<

Altodd: D:> !?

Shidako: *through her teeth* I think you would have noticed if Key had left your room, you DON'T SLEEP. I TRUST Altodd--do you trust KEY?

Todd: *he has to really think before giving out his answer* ... ... No. I used to, but... not anymore.

Shidako: D:! *even SHE was caught off-guard by his answer*

Key: *just stares--the wasn't what she wanted to hear. she could almost FEEL her heart breaking. If he didn't trust her anymore, then why bother? There was no fixing this. It would be impossible. She ignores whatever anyone says afterwards, she ignores Mehnit's pleased hum in the back of her mind--she simply turns, and leaves*

Altodd: D8 !! MIKAELA, WAIT! *runs after her*

Todd: *he hears Altodd's voice - his own voice - call after Key, and a sudden fury overtakes him once more. He screams and thrashes beneath Shidako 's grip*

Shidako: !!! *tightens her grip on him, holding him down* D:<

Key: *to Altodd* DON'T! W-We're DONE, remember??

Todd: *screams angrily*

Altodd: I-I wasn't going to DO anything like that - I-I just - you can't run from this, Key! He's not - he's INSANE, he doesn't know what he's SAYING! D8>

Shidako: *snarls at him*

Umbra: *one grabs onto Key and sucks out her happiness for about a millisecond, then lets go*

Key: --!! *for a split second, she feels a pang of fear not unlike the kind she would feel before--but the Umbra lets go before she can see anything. she blinks at Altodd, wide-eyed, and just a bit startled* D: ...

Altodd: Are you okay, now? <:/

Umbra: *fade away*

Shidako: *isn't about to lose her other eye--she bats his hand away, grabbing his wrist and trying to twist his arm, snarling angrily*

Todd: *he hisses in pain* LET ME GO!! LET ME KILL HIM - HE DESERVES IT!! THEY'RE ALL RIGHT, HE DESERVES MORE THAN DEATH!! DDDDD8<

Altodd: Wh-what?? D8>

Shidako: *snarls* SHUT UP! *grabs his head and smacks it against the door frame*

Todd: !!! *he blacks out from the attack*

Altodd: Holy... holy CRAP! What happened?? DD8>

Shidako: *drops Todd. she speaks through her teeth, watching Todd as if to make sure he wasn't going to get back up* He wanted to hurt you.

Altodd: WHY?? Wait - okay I think I already know why - w-we need to get Key - she'd be able to keep him away from us, right?? D8>

Todd: *unconscious*

Shidako: She could... the better question would be, why didn't she stop him?

Altodd: Should we investigate?? WHAT IF HE HURT HER?? D8>

Todd: *unconscious*

Key: *catches the implications in his phrasing* W-Wait--You were with someone BEFORE?!

Todd: YEAH, YOU ALREADY KNEW ABOUT MY DESPERATE ATTEMPTS TO COPE! YOU ALREADY KNOW ABOUT SARAH - WE TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE!! BUT THAT WAS BEFORE I KNEW YOU WERE ALIVE!!

Key: *had completely forgotten about this in her self-induced guilt-fit--but remembering makes her FURIOUS. her eyes glow red* AND YOU GET MAD AT ME WHEN I TRY TO COPE?!

Todd: NO, I'm mad at you NOW because even after you KNEW I WAS ALIVE, you STILL cheated on me, which is something I'd NEVER do!! D8<

Key: I DIDN'T THINK I'D SEE YOU AGAIN! THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I STAYED WITH HIM!

Todd: frack YOU, YOU KNEW I WAS OUT THERE AND DESPERATE TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN!! D8<

Key: WE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE YOU WERE, MUCH LESS IF WE WERE IN THE SAME WORLD OR NOT!!

Key: --!! *is snapped out of her rage as she remembers that he CAN make her let go. she tightens her grip on him further, hoping that he needs to use his hands to command minds*

Todd: *he sneers at her, then leans back into her and whispers into her ear* Nothing is wrong right now. Let me leave the room. Be really, like, MELLOW.

Key: *is unable to fight the command, and she relaxes, her grip on him loosening* Mmkay...

Todd: *he gets out of her loose grip* Yeah, y-you look really tired, Key. Maybe you should just rest or something. I'm gonna... go out. >:/

Key: Alright... I'll be here... I guess...

Todd: *he walks out and heads to Altodd and Shidako's room. He knocks on he door*

Shidako: *is surprisingly awake--she answers the door, and tenses up when she sees Todd* ....Yes?

Todd: Good morning. Get out of my way. >:(

Shidako: *narrows her eyes at him--she was right to be suspicious* No.

Todd: I'M ALREADY ANGRY WITH YOU!! DDD8< *he tries shoving her out of the way*

Key: !! *shoves back, refusing to let him leave* I'm not letting you hurt him, Todd! He doesn't deserve it! D:

Todd: *snarling at her like an animal* HE DESERVES EVERYTHING...!! DDDB<

Key: *says nothing, only stares back apprehensively. all she was sure of was that she wasn't letting Todd out of that room* ...

Todd: *his hands twitch nervously* D-DON'T MAKE ME HURT YOU - I'LL DO IT IF IT MEANS GETTING TO HIM!! DDDD8<

Key: ...W-WOULD you hurt me?

Todd: Ynn... nn... *again, to seemingly no one* SHUT UP!! I KNOW!! I KNOW I HAVE TO KILL HIM - I KNOW, I GET IT, I WANT TO KILL HIM, DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!

Key: *quietly* ...Todd, w-who are you talking to...?

Todd: I-I DON'T KNOW, I DON'T - I-I don't... stop, STOP, STOP... *he backs away from her, weakly batting at the air* god-DAMNIT...!!

Key: D:> ... *is utterly confused--had this really broken Todd that badly...??*

Todd: *he then turns to Key once more, half begging her now, half demanding* LET ME THROUGH...!! LET ME KILL THAT frackING MONSTER...!! LET ME KILL HIM!! DDDB<

Key: --!! *shakes her head vigorously*

Todd: *he then charges at Key, SCREAMING, MADDENED by his own hatred for Altodd and this damage that has been done to his sanity. He throws Key aside this time, just throws her aside and practically rips the door off its hinges trying to get it open*

Key: !! *is thrown against a wall--she quickly recovers, and grabs Todd, ripping him away from the door, and wraps her arms around him from behind, pinning his arms to his sides* TODD, STOP IT! D8>

Todd: *fights against her* Y-YOU STOP IT!! IF I JUST KILL ALTODD, MAYBE YOU'D STOP LEAVING ME!! DDD8<

Key: *tightens her grip on him* Todd, don't you UNDERSTAND?? I NEVER LEFT... Haven't you noticed that I only EVER go to Altodd when YOU'RE GONE? When you're TOO FAR for me to REACH? D8>

Harry: ... Good... *he nuzzles Claire* ... I'm gonna trying going back to sleep...

Claire: Okay... *nuzzles back* I'll be right here...

Harry: ... All right... let's hope this one isn't as horrible... *he closes his eyes and tries sleeping*

Celine: *still hugs him, gently nuzzling him*

Harry: *he nuzzles back and soon falls asleep once more*

Claire: *waits, hoping he's done with the nightmares for tonight...*

Harry: *has nightmares, though not as bad as the first for the entire night*

*The Next Morning*

Todd: *he wakes up as ordered by Lucifer* !!

Key: *notices him wake up* !! *sits up, pulling away, not sure how he's going to react to her* ...

Todd: D:< !! *he moves away from Key, angry with her, angry with Altodd - ALTODD!! He needs to DIE for what he's done!! Todd jumps out of bed and gets quickly dressed, murder in his eyes*

Key: *is actually rather afraid of what he might do--she stands in front of the door* ...Todd... Where are you going?

Todd: Get out of my way - I'm not FINISHED with him - he's probably alive - you probably SAVED HIM, you fracking WHORE!! GET OUT OF MY WAY!! GET - GET OUT OF -- *to seemingly no one* SHUT UP!! SHUT UP!! DDD8<

Key: *only becomes more fearful because of this, but she doesn't move--she knew she could easily overpower him* It's not his fault, Todd, don't take it out on him! D:>

Todd: HE DID THIS!! IT IS HIS FAULT - HE TOOK YOU WHILE I COULDN'T BE WITH YOU!! HE NEEDS TO DIE!! DDD8<

Key: He didn't--I sought him out, not the other way around! I'M the one you should be angry with!! D:>
