Todd: *scoots away from Altodd*

Key: *yells at Altodd* ALTODD, STOP THAT! YOU ARE NOT HELPING! D:<

Altodd: *pulls his lips back threateningly at Key, growling*

Todd: GODDAMNIT!! I'M NOT GONNA SIT HERE AND LISTEN TO YOU TRYING TO JUSTIFY BREAKING MY HEART!! DDD8< *he quickly gets up and runs off into the woods*

Everyone: D8 ...

Key: !!! H-HEY!! *chases after him*

Everyone: D:!!!

Todd: *he keeps running, wiping tears from his eyes. No. He can't cry. Not after how much of a dog he realized Key has always been. Constantly running back to HIM, whether he's decent or a goddamn RAPIST*

Altodd: *with Key gone, he roars angrily at everyone*

Key: *doesn't slow down, trying her hardest to catch up to him--but if he doesn't believe her now, will she EVER believe her? Will he ever accept an apology?*

Todd: *he runs and runs until he's halted by two necromancers who seems to glide out of nowhere to block his path*

Necromancers: *expressionless, they draw their daggers*

Altodd: *he stops roaring when this familiar face runs in front of his vision. He huffs, hackles and lips still raised, though he doesn't attack just yet*

Key: --!! *also stops, but is quick to bare her claws, stepping in front of Todd protectively* D:<

Shidako: ! *is surprised that actually worked. she tries taking a step closer* Shush, Altodd... there is no reason for you to be angry with us...

Todd: *practically screams at Key in his fury* I DON'T NEED ANY OF YOUR GODDAMN HELP!! D8<

Necromancer 1 *stabs at Key*

Necromancer 2: *also stabs at Key*

Altodd: *he snaps his teeth at her, provoked by her movement*

Key: *is briefly distracted by Todd's yelling, and is nearly stabbed by the first blade--she second one catches her arm. she hisses, and swipes at the second necromancer*

Shidako: !!!! *steps back again, flinching away slightly. she has an idea--she slowly removes her gauntlets and her helmet, setting them down on the ground, and nudging them away with her foot. she speaks quietly* ...See? I won't hurt you...

Necromancer 2: *backs away quickly before he's hit and moves around Key to get at Todd*

Todd: *punches at the necromancer with all his rage* DDD8<

Necromancer 2: *is hit - he's stunned, stumbling away with a grunt*

Necromancer 1: *tries swiping at Key again*

Altodd: *his growling never ceases*

Lucifer: Shidako, he's not THERE right now, that thing is a MONSTER, so just BACK AWAY before he mauls you.

Everyone Else: D8 ...

Key: *grabs the man's wrist, and stabs at him with her other hand* D8<

Shidako: Key was able to calm him... I have to try. *tries to remain calm, lowering her hands, keeping her voice quiet* I'm not going to hurt you...

Harry: *he slumps over, unconscious*

Altodd: *howls at the moon*

Shidako: ! *gets off of him*

Claire: ! *looks him over to make sure he's okay* ...I'm sorry you have to deal with this, Harry...

Key: *looks around for Todd* ..! *stumbles over to him* ...

Harry: *unconscious*

Altodd: *growls at the large group of people*

Todd: *extremely upset, still sobbing*

Key: *kneels next to him, and touches his arm* ...Todd? D:>

Claire: *looks over at the group* Can someone help me move Harry? D:

Iratus: *nods and puts Harry on his back*

Altodd: *walks over to Key and Todd, still growling at the others*

Todd: *between sobs* Wh-why...?? Wh-what did I do WRONG...??

Key: You didn't do ANYTHING, Todd, it was MY mistake, and I'm sorry...! D:>

Claire: *looks over at Todd, Altodd and Key, and wonders what the hell happened* <:/ ...

Shidako: *silently watches Altodd walk away from them* ...

Todd: *still sobbing* S-so you ch-cheated on me for no REASON??

Iratus: *doesn't understand what's going on* D:

Altodd: *growls, hackles raised*

Shidako: *isn't--and she wants to know exactly what happened* ....

Altodd: *growls at Todd*

Key: *huffs, slightly exasperated* I'm not saying I didn't! *lowers her voice so the others couldn't hear* I'm going to come out and say now that yes, I DID run to Altodd--but that was only because you were gone! I thought I was never going to see you again--and Mehnit was LYING about how serious it was, we... *lowers her voice further* We only slept together ONCE... and that was BEFORE I got pulled the first time... BEFORE I knew you were still alive... we stuck together after that because we were all the other had left... we had no idea where you or the others were, Todd...

Todd: *his voice is still broken* You could have LOOKED...!!

Altodd: *snarls at Todd, not liking his raise in voice*

Everyone: D:

Shezmul: *he ducks, then punches upwards into Mehnit's stomach* Predictable SCUM! HAHAHAHA! >8D

Altodd: *starts climbing up the tree*

Mehnit: !? *Is punched in the gut, the air knocked out of her lungs--she falls to the ground with a thud, then staggers back to her feet, trying to catch her breath again* DDDD8<

Shidako: *runs back, with everyone else in tow--she's relieved to find them as she left them* D8

Altodd: *seeing as Mehnit is now on the ground, he hops off the tree and pounces at her, hoping to catch her and tear her throat out*

Shezmul: *laughs hysterically*

Sam: Ooohh fuuuhh... D8

Lucifer: ... Hrmph... demekarrs...

Todd: *sobs*

Mehnit: !! *is caught, but isn't about to allow Altodd to kill her--she hisses angrily, swiping at Altodd, flaring her wings out in an attempt to startle him*

Sarah: How do we stop them?? D8

Lucifer: Forcefully pull them apart, which is impossible.

Sam: NUHHGH. DB>

Iratus: D8

Todd: *sobs*

Shezmul: *still laughing, amused*

Altodd: *he roars angrily in Mehnit's face, pressing down on her, trying to crush her*

Mehnit: DDDDDD8< *pushes back for a few moments, then suddenly loses her strength--she's forced back into Key, who falls unconscious almost as soon as the demon vanishes*

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Altodd: *he stops roaring at Key, stops crushing her, and instead sniffs her curiously*

Everyone: *holds their breath*

Shezmul: *watches* ...

Todd: *he also watches, still crying* ...

Key: *is unconscious*

Mehnit: *is FURIOUS*

Everyone: *watches expectantly* D8 ....

Altodd: *after sniffing her a bit, Altodd licks Key's face a whole bunch*

Todd: *sobs*

Everyone: *sighs in relief*

Shezmul: ... How disappointing... it would have been nice and DELICIOUSLY VIOLENT to see the dog bite the hostess's head off...

Key: mmhhhHHHH..! *weakly tries to shoo Altodd off her* stop iiiiit...!

Shidako: *watches silently, feeling slightly jealous... would she be able to calm him like that?*

Altodd: *whines a bit, his little tail stub wagging*

Shezmul: *drops to the ground, a mighty sound coming from the earth when he lands* Hahaha... cute, but not the sort of CHAOS I crave for...

Altodd: *turns and roars at Shezmul*

Shezmul: Yeesss... your rage... I can feel it from HERE, dog... come. Face me.

Altodd: *leaps at Shezmul, snarling at him*

Shezmul: *grabs Altodd by his snout and throws him aside*

Altodd: *yelps and lands roughly on his side*

Sam and Iratus: D8 !!

Lucifer: ...

Todd: *sobs*

Shidako: DDDD8< *leaps at Shezmul from the side*

Key: ---!? *tries to get back up, but her head is pounding and she barely has any energy left after Mehnit's brief little run* D;

Shezmul: !!?? *is knocked to the ground* Dragon-woman... BEAST! Get off me! D8<

Altodd: *while Shezmul is down, he slinks over to Key. He nudges her under her arm and against her neck, encouraging her to get away from Shidako and Shezmul*

Todd: *sobs*

Everyone: D8

Lucifer: ...

Key: *is nudged away* no, no, you have to come too...!

Shidako: *holds him down* HYPOCRITE! Give Harry back! D8<

Claire: *runs over, infuriated by Shezmul's refusal to release his hold on Harry. She needs to find an opening, somewhere, so she can try and charm Shezmul back into Harry's head*

Shezmul: *snarling* NEVER!! He's MINE to control, damnit! And YOU... you're NOTHING!! D8<

Altodd: *whimpers*

Todd: *sobs*

Everyone: D8

Key: *puts a hand on Altodd's side to support herself*

Shidako: *snarls at him*

Claire: *manages to get close enough, and puts a hand on Shezmul's arm and tries to charm him* I do think it's about time you calmed down...

Altodd: *he decides to just pick Key up and carry her to safety*

Shezmul: *gives Claire a nasty grin* Your powers don't work on demekarrs, Claire. >:D

Todd: *sobs*

Everyone: D8

Shidako: D:

Claire: *frowns* Well, I suppose I'll just have to talk to Harry, then. *sighs* Harry, I know you're in there--I'm not sure if you can see what's going on, but Todd is safe; Key is safe; Altodd's docile; the fighting is OVER--all you have to do is calm down...

Mehnit: ? *looks over at Altodd* Oh, this just gets more and more interesting, doesn't it?

Altodd: Fuh... FUUCK...!! *painfully transforming*

Shezmul: Heh. More fun. Now then... *he slashes at Mehnit*

Todd: *sobs*

Shidako: D8 *doesn't move, hoping to not attract any attention to herself--she knew she wouldn't be able to fight the demons, and with Altodd transformed and Todd stuck in a spiral of grief, she was basically left alone* D8 ...

Mehnit: ! *deflects his strike with her claws, stabbing at him with her other hand*

Altodd: *still transforming, getting more and more montrous*

Shezmul: *steps aside and tries grabbing Mehnit's throat* >8D

Todd: *sobs*

Mehnit: *was momentarily distracted by Altodd's transformation, and is grabbed by the throat* !! *grabs at his hand, trying to pry him off--she figures the situation calls for a distraction. suddenly, sharp, blade-like wings rip out of her back*

Shidako: *decides not to interfere--instead, she turns and flees, out of the forest, back to the city, hoping the others can help stop them*

Shezmul: *the wings do distract him, and his grip loosens* F-fly...??

Altodd: *with a roar, he's fully transformed, and snarls at the both of them*

Mehnit: *shoves Shezmul away, and looks over at Altodd* Hah! As feral as I expected. *takes off with a flap of her wings, grinning down at them, just out of reach* Let the games begin, no?

Altodd: *claws at the air, trying to reach Mehnit. He howls angrily at her*

Shezmul: Bah! I can take care of the dog first. Then I'll tear YOU apart! >:) *he slashes at Altodd*

Altodd: *is slashed. He snarls at Shezmul and lunges at him*

Shezmul: *leap-frogs right over the beast* HAHAHAHA!

Mehnit: Fine by me~ *lands on a thick branch, and simply perches there, content to watch the other two tear each other to pieces* Idiot.

Shezmul: *he grabs Altodd, picks him up, and throws him*

Altodd: !!! *sails over and hits the tree who's branch Mehnit was perched on*

Mehnit: !! *loses her balance when the tree shakes, but quickly regains it* Heheheheh....

Altodd: *looks up and roars at her*

Shezmul: Fool of a demekarr! Not realizing that I can reach you! *he jumps forward with such force that he practically flies to where Mehnit stays perched, claws ready*

Mehnit: *leaps off the branch, and flies higher, grinning wider* Are you SURE about that?

Shezmul: *claws at her, barely missing her* Sssss...! Only a matter of time... I WILL have you...

Altodd: *from down below, he snarls and howls angrily at them*

Mehnit: *hovers just out of his reach* I wouldn't waste my time if I were you, I could do this all day. The dog, however, only has tonight--why don't you go play with him some more?

Shezmul: YOU FORGET, MEHNIT! YOU ARE AS LIMITED AS HE AND I! YOUR HOST SHALL CALM DOWN AND PLUMMET TO HER DEATH! I, on the other hand... MY host's anger burns brightly still, and I, unlike YOU, CAN do this all day...

Altodd: *keeps trying to get at them*

Mehnit: Ah, good point... perhaps I should threaten Todd some more... *her grin grows wider* Heheheheh. She is too predictable.

Shezmul: *he also grins* KEY, SHE IS ONLY SAYING THOSE THINGS TO ANGER YOU! YOU MUST CALM YOURSELF, OR SHE WILL CONTINUE CONTROLLING YOU!

Altodd: *howls at them*

Mehnit: *frowns. she could tell Key was conflicted--but this could be easily fixed. she dives at Shezmul, claws-first* D:<

Key: *freezes* ...Mehnit? *her claws curl into fists* SHE told you?! *her voice rises until she's practically screaming at him, Mehnit's voice meshing in with her own* That stupid, arrogant, selfish lying dog!! WHAT DID SHE TELL YOU!?

Shidako: !!!?

Todd: *is somewhat afraid of Key now, and backs away from her* Sh-she told me th-that y-you were ch-cheating on my with Altodd, and was having s-sex with him e-every other d-day and always thinking about him... D8>

Harry: Todd, WHY...?? D8>

Altodd: *backs away from Key*

Shidako: *backs away from Key*

Key: *is completely outraged* WHAT??!!?[/b] THAT'S A LIE--*holds her head with both hands, as if trying to pry it open* GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! *suddenly transforms--*

Mehnit: *quickly turns that rage to her advantage and takes control, grinning almost ferally at the others* Ah, fresh air...

Shidako: DDDD8>!!!

Todd: *he sees Key transform... but he doesn't care. Why should he, when Key doesn't even truly love him. He backs up and slides down against a tree, into the fetal position, sobbing*

Harry: T-TODD, GET OUT OF THERE!! D8>

Altodd: DDDDD8 !!!!!!!

Mehnit: *looks down at Todd, and smirks* Ah, are we really that broken, Todd? Such a shame... *uses the end of one claw to turn his face up to look at her* Ah well... since you seem to have no will to live, I may as well put you out of your misery... *her smirk turns into a grin as she feels Key's rage spike in the back of her mind* heheh...

Shidako: *is still rather scared of her--she doesn't know what to do* D8>!!!!

Harry: NOO!! D8< *he in enraged by Mehnit's threat, and thus, he also turns. He pulls Mehnit away from Todd and throws her at a tree* Hahaha! If fighting YOU means I get to stay out longer, then this'll be the most fun I've had in a CENTURY! >8D

Todd: *puts his head back down and keeps sobbing*

Altodd: frack!! D8> *he then notices the sun fully down. Night. And soon a full moon* shoot - shoot - now's not the time for this!! DDDD8>

Shidako: We shouldn't stay here..!! D8

Mehnit: OOF! *quickly gets back up, and grins at Shezmul* Well well well, come out to join the party, have we? *bares her oversized claws* How lovely.

Altodd: I-I can't - Sh-Shidako, RUN, I'm gonna... HNNRRGH...!! *he doubles over in pain as the moon rises overhead*

Shezmul: *looks over at Altodd* >:/ ?

Todd: *sobs*

Todd: *his smile quickly drops into a frown when she mentions Altodd* ... *he follows Key out, to Altodd and Shidako's room*

Harry: *stops them on the way there* Hi - Todd, what're you doing up like this?

Todd: I'm going to work with Key and Altodd.

Harry: ... Why?

Tod: Well, I really wanted to be with Key during the day for once so she's letting me come along, and also we need to deal with Altodd tonight since he's got his issues and I'm SO not letting Key handle him on her own. :/

Harry: ... Yeah, no. You and a wolf monster, Todd? I'm coming along.

Todd: Like a party! :D

Key: *facepalms* Oh boy. You do realize it's riskier the MORE people we have around him? D:/

Harry: I don't care. If Todd gets hurt because I wasn't around to help him, that'll just kill me. I'm coming along. >:/

Todd: C'mon, Key. <:/

Key: *groans* Okay, fine. XC But if something goes wrong, you can't blame it on me. >:I *goes over to Altodd's room, and knocks* Helluuu?

Altodd: *opens the door, fully dressed with his sword in his hand. He looks somewhat restless* I'm ready, I'm ready now - let's go! O__O

Todd: *feels angry and upset around Altodd* ...

Harry: :/

Key: Okay, jeez, chill. ^^; Uh, by the way, Todd and Harry are coming with us apparently. .___.

Altodd: ... Uh... oh. Okay. What a coincidence. Shidako wanted to come with us too. ^^;

Todd: ...

Harry: We'll be a force to reckoned with anyway. XC

Key: ... WELL. Okay, jeez. :I I guess we better get going, then. Is Shidako--

Shidako: *pops up in the doorway* Yes.

Key: Yay. Aaand off we go.

*and so they went. Bibentus, though somewhat annoyed at the large amount of newcomers, allows them to work with Key and Altodd. They are assigned to patrol the forest for the whole day*

Altodd: *he finds this perfect, as this is a good place to stay when the full moon comes out*

*they patrol until the sun hangs low in the sky, which was a purplish-orange color*

Todd: *he can't take it anymore - all that pent up sorrow and anger has to be released. And so those feelings, Todd releases* I'M SICK OF THIS!! PRETENDING LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED!! THINKING I'M SOME KIND OF IDIOT!! D8<

Altodd: T-Todd?? D8>

Todd: NO!! *he then punches Altodd in the mouth*

Altodd: *stumbles back* !!!???

Harry: TODD, WHAT THE HELL?? D8>

Shidako: D8<!!! *steps between Todd and Altodd, hissing furiously--she was THISCLOSE to simply pouncing on him right then and there*

Key: Todd, what the hell's gotten into you!? D8

Todd: *he points an accusing finger at Key as tears start to form and roll down his cheeks* YOU...!! Y-YOU LIED TO ME...!! YOU - Y-YOU SAYING YOU ONLY GOT WITH ALTODD BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT I WAS DEAD - YOU SAW I WASN'T AND YET YOU CONTINUED CHEATING ON ME!!

Harry: D8 ... *he looks over between Todd and Key*

Altodd: *he sucks in his breath sharply. How did Todd find out...??*

Key: *freezes--how did he find out!? Altodd looked just as shocked as she did!* H-How did you...??

Shidako: *goes wide-eyed in surprise--she looks at Altodd, then at Todd, waiting for some kind of explanation* D8

Todd: *he drops his arm, down full sobbing, trying to speak at the same time. He does, though he's quiet* Wh-wh-whah... what did I do wrong, K-Key...? Wh-what did I do WRONG...? Wh-why won't y-you love me l-like y-you used to...? *he continues to sob, broken, broken, feeling like he's failed, like Key failed him, like Altodd ruined everything*

Harry: D8> ... *he's only seen Todd so upset when Key was dead and when they all thought they'd never see her again*

Altodd: D8> ... *he feels awful, and feels like he should be blamed for the whole thing...*

Shidako: *stands and gawks, unable to comprehend the pure GRIEF that Todd was feeling* D8>

Key: D8> *already blames herself for ALL of it. (why did I EVER think that would be a good idea!?) she steps closer to Todd* Todd, I am so, SO sorry...! I shouldn't have... *wonders if he'll ever forgive her. she'd understand if he doesn't--this was already her second chance, and lo and behold, she blew it yet again*

Todd: ... I-I don't NEED to make her confess - she doesn't have ANYTHING to confess - the truth is that she loves me and she knows better! She'd never cheat on me, not after all that happened before! D8< *in truth, he's afraid. He doesn't want to make her say it, whether or not she's cheating on him, because he's terrified of what her answer may be. That slight chance that it could be "yes"*

Mehnit: She has past history, no? She's been alone with him for WEEKS, Todd, who KNOWS what could have happened... *chuckles* Actually, I know. I could tell you everything. Everything she's hiding from you...

Todd: *he then forcefully grabs his pillow and slams it down onto his head, trying to block Mehnit out as best as he can*

Mehnit: *only moves closer, just to make sure she can still be heard* I think I lost could of how many times they slept together...

Todd: *he tries as hard as he can not to listen, but hot, angry tears roll down his cheeks and stain the bed as really, it's all he CAN hear. He tries suppressing a sob*

Mehnit: *grins widely* It was terrible, really... at least every other night... Ugh, sorting through her thoughts was difficult, all I found was THEM... even when they were supposed to be working... HAH...

Todd: *he can't take it, and begins sobbing quietly from under the pillow. He begs the demon* ... S-stop... PLEASE...

Mehnit: *grins, but then changes to a more sympathetic tone of voice--all part of the act* I'm sorry, Todd... But I do hope you see the truth now... I really DO suggest talking to her as soon as possible... Good night. *vanishes back into Key*

Todd: *he is forced to stay up all night with those thoughts stuck in his head like a flies in a spider web. A few times he switched on and off of completely sobbing his eyes out. It... it can't be true - it CAN'T be true...! He ends up hugging Key tightly for the rest of the night, crying into her shoulder as she sleeps*

Key: *is completely oblivious, happy in the dream world Todd sent her to*

Mehnit: *is more than satisfied. She's almost GLEEFUL to see the results of this tomorrow...*

The Next Morning

Todd: *he's desperately tried composing himself, though he's more than a bit of a mess, and even with his inability to sleep, he's looks dreadfully tired. He shakily whispers into Key's ear* K-Key... w-wake up... *he quickly wipes away some tears from his eyes. It can't be true, it can't be true, it can't be true...*

Key: *wakes up, yawning, feeling rested* G'morning... *looks over at him, and frowns* ...Todd, what's wrong? D:>

Todd: *he forces a smile, resisting the urge to start crying again - come ON, you damned BABY, now's NOT the time for this!* N-nothing's wrong, w-we need to get ready, r-right? G-gonna come with you t-to work this t-time... everything's... g-gonna be okay... *he gets up and quickly gets his clothes on*

Key: *gets out of bed* Todd, something is DEFINITELY wrong--come on, you can tell me anything! D:>

Todd: *he turns his head and looks her directly in the eyes* W-well... would YOU be able to tell ME anything, Key?

Key: Of course...! D:>

Todd: *he gives her a cheery smile while on the inside, his heart shatters* ... I'm fine, Key. Let's go.

Key: Okay! Hang on-- *quickly gets ready* Okay, now we can go get Altodd. ^^ *leaves the room*

Todd: Alright - I'll help you sleep, then. :) *he separates from her and crawls into bed*

Key: :) *follows him into bed, snuggling into him. she sighs happily* <33

Todd: ... Okay... *he smiles a little* ... Go sleep now... have good dreams, just like last night.

Key: Kay... g'night... *her eyes droop closed, and she falls asleep*

Todd: *he holds her close, rubbing her back as she slept, feeling much better* ...

Key: *is comfortable and happy, smiling a bit in her sleep*

Mehnit: *appears again* Ugh, I hate it when you do that...

Todd: *he narrows his eyes, but pretends he doesn't hear her*
