Chapter 1 - Chime of dawn
As I wait standing still in time
I here a noise like a soft gentle chime.
The noise I hear calls out to me
Like a soft whisper in my dream.
I wake to a new morning dawn
Knowing that the new day has begun.
My alarm clock rings so very loud
That it is hard to believe that that’s my dream sound.
I turn it off and get out of bed
Only to know where yesterday led.
The day passes until it is gone
Only to find the next days gentle chime of dawn.
