Time to wonder,
Who has the time to wonder?
I have time to wonder.
About what?

I wonder about the stars.
Do they have feelings too, like me and you?
I think they do.

When you’re happy they seem to know and are happy too.
When you are sad they know that too and are sad with you.

Time to wonder,
Who has the time to wonder?
I have time to wonder.
About what?

I wonder where hummingbirds go in a hurricane.

Into a tree?
Doesn’t seem very safe to me.
It could break and fall.
So it’s not very safe at all.

Hiding in a flower I don’t think would work well either.
A flower is so soft and small,
It can’t provide much shelter at all.

Time to wonder,
Who has the time to wonder?
I have time to wonder.

I guess I wonder quite a lot, about this about that.
About whatever fills my head and hat.

Maybe one day I’ll find the answers I seek,
But until then I’ll be happy just wondering day-by-day and week-by-week.

Time to wonder,
Who has the time to wonder?
I do, that’s who.
