Sticks and stones
Mariah sat in her hut, Kevin and Gary accompanied her.
She was a natural Born Hypocrit. For here she was, smiling through her pain.
She laughed at all of Kevin's jokes and kissed them farewell. Waiting until they were gone to go to her bedroom. She then took out a picture of her Red-haired secret crush.
Holding it to her chest she be-rated herself once again for both falling and not telling him; even though she knew it would have been hopeless.
His named slipped from her lips accompanied by a stream of tears. "Tala..."
So we all must remember:
Sticks and stones are hard on bones
Aimed with angry art.
Words will hurt like anything
But Silence broke the heart.
I love that poem. It's one of my favorites. ^_^! Hope you liked the story by the way, and if There's any other stories out there with this pairing could someone let me know? *Smiles* Thanks.
