Praise Your Gods
As time comes,
And events happen,
When miracles occur,
And when they're needed,
Praise your gods.
For a good harvest,
Or even a bad one,
For a hopeful marriage,
Or a successful career,
Praise your gods.
For a streak of luck,
Or lack thereof,
For a chance at love,
And when you get it,
Praise your gods.
When the sky rains fire,
And the seas become of blood,
When hope and love fails,
When hatred and fear run rampant,
Praise your gods,
They don't give a damn.
