Chapter 1 - 1
Hiding in a corner,
Running from the crowd,
Hiding from the limelight,
Standing in the dark.
Hidden in a book,
Lost in my fantasy world,
Hoping to stay,
Not missing reality.
I try to speak to you,
But then I run away,
Scared of your judgment,
Hoping you won’t see me.
I hate to be the center of attention,
What I want be you see,
Is not to be noticed,
But to be invisible.

Reminds me of the episode of 'Invisible Man' where Darien has to pretend to be an eight year old's invisible friend, and she tells him that she wishes that she could be invisible, because she doesn't have any friends. I loved it.
