Chapter 1 - Untitled

I will paint you in silver
And wrap you in gold...

Chapter 1 - Untitled

Chapter 1 - Untitled

I will paint you in silver

And wrap you in gold

I will make you a memory

That will never grow cold

Like my love for you did

With the frost of first light

The loss of longing

Or the silence tonight

Like the imprint of kisses

From lovers long past

Burning in the darkness

But never to last

Gone with the night

To dawn's harshest glare

Paper to flame turned to dust

Without care

I burn much like lanterns

And melt with these tears

The hidden reminders

Of love and fears

Though the memory is sliver

And wrapped up in gold

This heart is now heavy

And you are too cold…

A/N: Ummm…it depressing but that's how I feel right now. My sadness makes for sucky poetry apparently.

Dr_PostalSucky poetry? To apply this label to such an obviously heartfelt work is tantamount to insanity! This is an experience to be remembered for all time, an experience that will never grow cold.
