Yes, as a matter of fact. It kind of hints at it..though he's not pure and utter mental instability. Allow me...-He pulled down his collar, revealing a half-stitched mouth that was twisted into a fanged, and insanity hinted, grin. He had an eerie glaze over his eyes. - This kinda hints at it a little as he talks about a 'fire'..which, coincidently, is the same element of which he is destroyed from in 'The Apprentice and The Mentor'.
-"I was burned alive...toasted to nothing but my data...all because I helped a human girl...a friend..out of the building..but the building crashed down upon me before I had the chance to escape."- Little girl = Kiara...whom he thought he had saved from the fire...which, unfortunately, was not true. But, it also points to TAATM, seeing how he wanted to save her in that as well.

how in the name of the Digital World could he just do that? Wave off his death of being killed by fire like it was nothing?- Wizardmon does seem to question if Lucifer's quite in his right mind..
So yes, Lucifer's a little insane...just a little.

I'm glad you think so. See? Lucifer isn't so bad, or insane, or childish, as I made him out to be....and that was just so emotional. -sniffs as well and grabs the tissue box-
