Mother dont cry
Im here for you now
As I hold your cold, fragile hand
My wish&my prayer
Is that your pain be gone away
I wish I could let you escape
To the place where you need to be
Somewhere safe
Warm
Loving
Momma dont cry
Some things in life we just cant help
Gods in control
We may not understand
But its all for the best
Mother dont be sad
Youve had a rough life
You have made bad decisions
But I forgive you
I know you didnt mean to
Youve taught me much
Like how to treat my husband
How to raise my kids
How to handle my money
And most important
Who to marry
Momma dont be sad
Your baby girl is growing up
Shes living a better life
One day Ill get married
To the right man
My children will be happy
They wont have the memories I have
I only wish, you could watch it all unfold
Momma&I love you
Forever and always
No matter what
