Chapter 1 - Nightmare
Nightmare
Run. Run. Run.
A great light growing behind you.
A fire. A monster. A demon.
Run. Hide. Run.
Getting closer. Closer. And closer.
Run. Run. Run as fast as you can.
Getting louder with every step.
Scared. Horror. Terror.
Everything dies when it’s touched.
A monster. A demon. Run. Run. Run.
Wants to eat me. Shred me. Kill me.
Harder, run faster, run, breath, more.
Chases you, still. Persistent.
Run. Run. Run. Getting tired. Slower.
The thing wants me. Eat me. Shred me. Kill me.
Catches you. Eat you. Shred you. Just before it kills you…
Wake up with a start. Cold sweat. Panting. Safe.
Nightmare. Haunting. Scary. Safe.
No fire. No demon. No monster.
Nothing to eat me. Shred me. Kill me. Safe.
Just a nightmare and nothing more.
Run. Run. Run.
