Chapter 1 - Broken Love
Broken Love
My heart,
a broken love.
My soul,
a shattered window.
My life,
a savaged land.
I gasp for breath,
air that isn't there.
Holding her hand and looking ahead.
I smile lightly, but,
cry deeply.
Remember when that was me?
I was so happy.
Thought nothing could pull us apart.
Feel your hands upon me.
Could love no other the same.
A girl's love. Puppy love.
A change of heart.
A change of name.
Now no love.
Now a broken heart.
A shattered soul.
And a savaged life.
Never to be cared for the same again.
