Chapter 1 - Vision

The sky is blue.
That is...true enough.
The grass is green.
Again, it is true.
But I must take a moment to emphasize
How very dull it all is.
Would life not be more brilliant;
More dazzling; more spectacular,
If we could all see?
Now, I do not mean to insinuate
That you are blind. No, I quite doubt
That you would be reading this if you were.
I mean merely that you look with your eyes,
When you could just as easily see with your mind.
I beseech you to close your eyes and see.
Gaze in wonder
As the sky turns gloriously golden.
Stare in awe
As the grass becomes magnificently silver.
Do you see the beauty of the world?
This is the world I live in,
And I hope you see fit to join me.
