Chapter 1 - Unopened

Somewhere in the world
There is a building.
In the building,
There is a room
With contents unknown
Rested between
Two massive chambers.
The hallways emanating
From the room
Spread to the outermost limits
Of the building.
There is a door
To the room
Secured by chain
And bound by lock
The key to which
Resides with a solitary soul
Who remains unaware
Of the property to which
She has been endowed.
Consequently,
The door remains sealed,
While the walls begin
To crumble.
The building grows
Old and fragile,
And the room enters
A state of disrepair.
The walls and ceiling
Push and pull on the room
Until it shatters
And the crimson-shaded carpet
Held within the room
Flows throughout the building
Until it can flow
No more.
