Chapter 1 - Confusion
What is it about you
That makes me want to live?
That mysterious quality
That brings meaning to my life.
How is it that your smile
Warms even my cold heart?
How is it possible
That you always know
Exactly what I need?
Why is it
That I feel safe around you?
And why is it
That even the greatest poets
Cannot describe
My feelings for you?
How is it that
The mere thought of you
Brings a smile to my face?
I suppose it must just be
Because I love you.
That makes me want to live?
That mysterious quality
That brings meaning to my life.
