Chapter 1 - Confusion of a child

Childeren amused by fake smiles and false sincerity.
While you lounge in material serenity.
No care, no affection, you ignore him.
Used only as objects for your vain fixations.
You seem not to notice hurt him so.
He's calling for you, but all you hear is the sound of the cash register.
Confusion and pain, both evident in his face..

The question, uttured by him, scours the air, but never seems to reach your "Blinged out" ears.
"Does daddy love me?" but u provide no answer, no closure.
He soon grows, every year he understands more.
Now, he and his dad no longer speak.
The void..never filled..
