Chapter 1 - Here but gone all at once
Submitted April 1, 2007 Updated April 1, 2007 Status Incomplete | Today is his birthday and instead of celebrating he is drinking it away. And as usual he keeps me out mentally and emotionally. I guess that even after agreeing to help each other through everything, things manage to change.

Chapter 1 - Here but gone all at once
I am here with you yet I feel as if I stand alone.
I lay awake next to you everynight wondering why life is the way it is,
Why is it such a fight,
Why is it such a lonely passage,
Why, Why, Why.
I have so many questions about this life,
Yet I have nobody to ask them to,
I have nobody to help me through this life.
You are here with me physically,
But are you here with me mentally,
Are you here with me emotionally?
Everytime you want something, you get it
Everytime something goes wrong, I stand alone.
I might as well be alone.
Why waste someone else's life if you are never here?
Everytime some sort of challenge is thrown at us,
You resign to yourself and keep me out.
Everytime something is to be done, you are never involved.
Everytime we fear something in life, you back away.
We are suppose to stand together through everything,
We made that choice,
However where are you all the time?
Are you here with me or are you gone?
I just wish I knew...
