Hello Mr. Sandman
Where were you last night?
When I needed you the most?
Thoughts churning in my head
Plaguing my dreams
flowers turn to dust
Ra destroys all
Evening Mr. Sandman
will you help me this night?
Sprinkle the innocent sand
give me the innocent dreams
I wish to be a child again
not a worry in the world
Call upon the Tooth Fairy,
The Easter Bunny,
the little green Leprechauns
Because
Mr. Sandman
I don’t want to wake again.
