Wow... The site changed...
Jury is still out if I like this new layout....
O_o

Um yeah, a few FAQ:

Q: Will you Draw _*insert request here*_ for me? (For Free)

A: No. I'm sorry but I'm so very busy with paid customers and projects I just do not have the time or resources to be drawing pictures for everyone who asks nicely. Catch me at a convention and I'll be more than happy to doodle in your sketch diary! If you want to COMMISSION a work of art: CONTACT ME for terms.

---------------------

Q: Will you look at my Fanfiction/Original Fiction and give me pointers?

A: No, You really do NOT want my advice. I make a horrible beta and I can barely proofread my own stuff. I just cannot beta for you and again I'm sorry.

----------------------------

Q: Are you a dog Troll?

A: Absolutely! Wink

---------------------------------

Q: Do you have anything published?

A: I sure do anf there are links throughout my website for the books I have in print.

---------------------------------

Q: What Cons do you go to?

A: I really only go to Yaoi-Con every year. Big crowds at thelarger animes are too smelly and rude for my tastes.

feariHey, I have a question. I was recently looking through the FAQ, because I wasn't sure why the thumbnails on the main page weren't showing up, or in galleries. You said something about the pop-up blocker on McAfee. I was wondering what settings you went through to get them to show up. I've messed around with it, and I can't get it to work, and I'm not sure what settings to messed with. I've got McAfee Security center. Sorry to bother you, thanks.

BattouI remeember reading in one of your pic descriptions that you had used poser for referance and thought I'd give it a try.

Now, I am not sure how you go about it but, the way I did it is working rather well. as I get better with poser I feel my drawings will improove greatly. I've only done a coulpe of pics(none of witch are on FAC but rather HF) with it at the moment but it has taken my crap to another level.

Thank You.

If you care to see the differenc it made lemme know and I will send you links to the pics with somthing to compare it to if you want.

DaisukelovesHey do you know any digital ink programs because i tried your tutorial (i scanned) but it did not work. so do you have any ideas?

fablespinner on December 9, 2006, 1:27:17 PM

fablespinner on
fablespinnerIt should have worked just fine.
Perhaps you're scanning at too low a resolution.
Nothing less than 300 DPI is a good rule of thumb.
If you have no clue what I'm talking about, I really REALLY suggest you look up some tutorials on Google.
You're at a very beginner level and as much as I'd like to help you personally, I don't have that sort of time.
My tutorials are for Intermediate and advanced level users, there are tons of beginner level tutorials available on the internet, just type what you need into google and POOF there you go. That's how I taught myself, lots of hours of research on-line.

Daisukelovesi have a question.... you know that photoshop thing you said you can color in the lines that you made with another program... i made a drawling and now i need to know how to digitize them so i can use magic wand on photo shop

can you tell me this program please

fablespinnerWow, that's REALLY beginner level.
#1. You need a scanner
#2 I don't recommend using the magic wand tool on line art in photoshop it will leave your work pixelated. If you want to color lineart, I'd go about doing it the way I showed you in the tutorial, you won't have pixelated dots that way.

fablespinnerNo, the only con I really attend is Yaoi-Con in San Francisco in october every year.

If I understand your request, you're asking if I do commissions? If that's correct, I do take commissioned work, and the information on the type of work you can commission is available on my website: http://fablespinner.comfablespinner.com

demonofsandMay i ask what photoshop version do you use, and how much it cost you? I would like to know, so i can buy it for my brother over christmas. Please and thank you.

fablespinnerI use PhotoShop CS, it's costs an arm and a leg. Well over $1100.00 retail most places. Google for bargains, but expect to ransom a small country to own it legally. Pirates naturally are rampant on eBay but I never recoomended buying pirated Adobe software, it more often than not will just crash your computer and be useless.
