I don't know why but every time I see this picture I give a big sigh. It kind of looks like the kitten's underwater, and the beams of sunlight are like beams through the waves. Very nice subdued colours, they make the kitten look like its been waiting there for ages. There's that sigh again. :)

I never noticed but it really does have an under water effect *blinks* I guess the kitty is good at holding it's breath. LOL

Pastel colors are really good at conveying the nostalgia that is needed for this pic, and so you used very good color choices. the cat actually looks like a miniature shootzu puppy to me (I guess it's because that's exactly what my friend's puppy would look like from behind, 'cept with black ears and a black spot on top of the head). Oh well, it's still adorable^^
