Key: *is still tightly hugging Altodd, now doing everything in her power to avoid looking at Todd* ...

Shidako: *growls, then takes his head with her other hand, and breaks his neck*

Lucifer: ... Then I suppose I am the only one with the ability to watch him. *lets go of Todd*

Todd: *just stands there, staring blankly*

Altodd: *growls at Todd*

Necromancer: *dies instantly*

Sarah: ...We could take turns... watch him in shifts...

Key: *pets Altodd, trying to shush him*

Shidako: *lets go of the body, dropping it with a THUMP* ... *looks over at Zorua, frowning a bit, then picks her up and heads back over to the group*

Zorua: *doesn't complain--the cut in her side was starting to sting badly*

Harry: ... If he could hear me, I'd scream his ear off for being so STUPID.

Todd: ...

Lucifer: Well he can't, Harry. Deal with it.

Altodd: *whimpers*

Everyone: *sad*

Key: Shhh... shhh...

Shidako: *comes back* We've killed the necromancer... he says there are more of them.

Zorua: *hops out of Shidako's arms, and goes off to the side to lick her wound*

Lucifer: Of course there are.

Todd: ...

Harry: ... We shouldn't of ran. We could have helped Water City...

Sam: Where's Blood Puppet? <:/

Iratus: *nuzzles Zorua*

Mia: *quietly* He left last night...

Claire: What? Why?? D:

Zorua: *nuzzles him back for a moment, then goes back to tending to her wound*

Lucifer: ... Yes. Why?

Everyone: .__.

Altodd: *licks Key's cheek*

Todd: ...

Mia: ... *sighs* He drank from the lake, ended up younger, then we had a small dispute and he stormed off. <:/

Claire: ...

Key: *pets him, appreciating the puppy's (unconscious) attempt at comforting her*

Lucifer: ... Well, where would he be NOW? >:/

Todd: ...

Everyone: D:

Altodd: *he hugs her with his long arms*

Mia: How am I supposed to know, he just ran off! D:>

Key: *hugs him back, burying her face in his shoulder* ...

Claire: In that case, we should split up--someone needs to stay and watch Todd.

Blood Puppet: *He's completely upset now* Y-YOU MEAN THIS WASN'T ENOUGH??

Everyone: *somehow still asleep*

Mia: *glances around nervously* Walter, shh--! I-I told you before you drank...!

Blood Puppet: *his unhappiness turns to anger, and he hisses at Mia* frack you! *He then runs off, away from the group*

Mia: D:>!! W-Wait...! Wait... *groans, facepalming. she doesn't know what to do!*

The Next Morning

Blood Puppet: *is still not back*

Todd: *he comes stumbling at the group, ready to swing his sword. He does so at Key*

Everyone: *asleep*

Key: *hears something--she looks up just as Todd raises his blade* AAH!! *quickly gets up and moves out of his way, bringing Altodd with her* D8>!??!

Everyone else: !?

Todd: *swings down, hitting only dirt and grass. He looks over at Key, his eyes empty and white*

Altodd: *Yelps when he's moved and snarls at Todd*

Harry: WH-WHAT IS HE DOING HERE??

Lucifer: ...

Iratus: D8

Key: *stares back, not saying a word, keeping a tight grip on Altodd* D8 ...

Claire: They must have sent him after us...

Sarah: W-What do we do with him? D8

Harry: I-I don't KNOW... D8>

Todd: *swings at Harry*

Harry: !!! *ducks out of the way*

Altodd: *fights against Key, still angrily roaring and snarling at Todd*

Lucifer: Maybe we could kidnap this body?

Sam: But it's trying to KILL US! D8>

Lucifer: No. A necromancer who is controlling him nearby is. Let's find the necromancer first.

Zorua: (I'm on it!) D:> *conceals herself, and dashes off into the forest*

Shidako: *dashes off after her*

Key: *keeps a firm hold on Altodd, not about to let him go*

Todd: *swings at Key again*

Lucifer: *stops him by grabbing him from behind*

Todd: *doesn't struggle* ...

Necromancer: *is controlling Todd from behind a tree* ...

Altodd: *struggling*

Key: *stares at Todd, not really sure what to do anymore*

Zorua: !! *spots him, and leaps at him from behind, biting down on his shoulder* D8<

Shidako: !! *follows Zorua, and attacks the necromancer*

Necromancer: *doesn't scream, but is clearly injured. He slashes at them with a dagger*

Todd: *doesn't struggle* ...

Lucifer: ... I wonder how many necomancers are tied to him...

Everyone: D:

Claire: I guess we'll find out...

Zorua: *yelps, and hops off him, the blade having nicked her side*

Shidako: *avoids the blade, and grabs his arm to keep him from attacking again--she grabs his neck with the other, gripping it tightly* D:<

Lucifer: We can't possibly hunt them all down if there ARE as many as I think.

Harry: ... What will we do with his body?

Lucifer: As long as there's no necromancer in the area to command the body, it will not attack us. It will stay animated as long as there's necromancers attached to him.

Todd: ...

Necromancer: *gags a bit, but shows no emotion* ... There will be more of us.

Claire: That means we'll have to be constantly watching him...

Shidako: *hissing* And they will ALL die. D:<

Zorua: *growls at the necromancer*

Altodd: *whimpers quietly, staring at Key*

Everyone: *sad*

Blood Puppet: *he walks over to the edge of the lake, then gets on his knees and takes off his mask* ...

Key: *speaks almost inaudibly as she pets him* Shhh... s'n-not your fault... not your fault...

Mia: D:> *decides to get up and go over to him--she puts a hand on his shoulder to stop him* ...you don't have to do this, Walter...

Altodd: *puts his hand on her face, still whimpering*

Everyone: *sad*

Blood Puppet: *without looking at her* ... We both know that our age difference is the main thing keeping us apart...

Key: mmph-- *gently takes his hand off her face* shh...

Mia: *quietly* But it isn't the ONLY thing... what if something goes wrong?

Altodd: *he steps closer, sitting on Key's lap and snuggling against her*

Everyone: *sad*

Key: ... *puts her arms around him, hugging him close*

Mia: *knows she can't stop him--so she pulls her hand away, and steps back* ...

Altodd: *snuggles, his tiny breathing against hers*

Everyone: *sad*

Blood Puppet: ... *he takes his gloves off and starts drinking from the fountain of youth*

Key: *rests her cheek against the top of his head, letting out a tired sigh. he was like a giant teddy bear...*

Mia: *watches, and waits, not sure what to expect*

Altodd: *drowsy, he closes his eyes, snuggled up against Key*

Everyone: *decides to go to sleep*

Blood Puppet: *he drinks and drinks until he looks at his own reflection and sees... a twenty-something young man staring back at him. He smiles, satisfied*

Key: *quietly* goodnight... *closes her own eyes, trying not to think too much*

Mia: *can't seethe change from where she's standing* ...

Altodd: *asleep*

Everyone: *Asleep*

Blood Puppet: *he stands up and turns around to face Mia* ... I'm young again. <:D

Key: *...*

Mia: *her eyes widen in shock--there he was, looking just like she had left him* D8 ...

Everyone: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: *he laughs a little, happily* ... Young...!

Mia: *nods slowly* I-I can see that... D8

Everyone: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: Mia, this is... This is GREAT! Why... Don't you look like you think it's great? <:D ... Mia?

Blood Puppet: *his stance, his expression, everything becomes sad* ... Wh-what do you mean? D:>

Mia: *doesn't like the sudden change in his expression--it's too familiar now* I don't know, okay...? D:>

Lucifer: Of course.

*they all walk to Water City as quickly as possible. Even when taking a shortcut, it takes most of the day, and they arrive at the city (finally) at sunset*

Water City: *is in the midst of being taken over my Life City. Its giant dome is shattered and broken and smoke pours out from the ruins of the fake city as well as the battle underneath*

Occulta: *is there to welcome the group, dressed in war armor and riding a horse* I was beginning to think you wouldn't show up!

Army: *some are outside the city to guard Occulta. There's about thirty men there, and many more taking the city*

Todd: *he's "alive". staring blankly at the group. He is practically nude, save for the few bandages wrapped around him and covering his mouth and neck, as well as the crude loin cloth he wears. A fitting look for a zombie slave* ...

Harry: Th-that's Todd...! TODD! HE'S ALIVE! <8D

Necromancers: *they laugh at Harry's words*

Harry: D:> ??

Lucifer: ... Very predictable, Occulta.

Occulta: So what if this was? It still HURTS, doesn't it? His death has left quite a wound in you all... and THIS is the salt rubbed all over it.

Altodd: *whimpers*

Key: *it takes her a moment to realize what Occulta had done--and her relief at seeing Todd "alive" quickly turns into unrestrained hate. completely forgetting that the tiny Altodd was still on her back, she transforms, screeching furiously at Occulta* DDDDDDDDDDDD8<

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Altodd: *with a startled yelp, he quickly leaps off*

Iratus: *grabs Key from behind and holds her back*

Harry: *is too horrified to explode like Key did* DDD8 ...

Occulta: *laughs evilly*

Todd: *he slowly stumbles over to the group. Upon closer inspection, one can clearly see a machete with a long handle wrapped tightly to his forearm and hand. The weight of the weapon makes him a lot more crooked and imbalanced. Still, he drags his feet towards them, a blank whiteness -- a DEADNESS in his eyes*

Key: *continues screaming at Occulta, tears welling up in her eyes as the grief catches up with the rage, fighting against Iratus, trying and failing to free herself*

Mia: *is completely horrified* DDDDDDD8

Claire: *is also incredibly disturbed by the sight. when she speaks, her voice is quiet* Th-There's nothing we can do right now... we can't stay here.

Harry: ... O-Our only chance of bringing him back... H-He... * tears quickly form and roll down his cheeks*

Todd: *when he gets close enough to them, he swings his machete arm at the nearest person he can reach*

Iratus: !!!! *quickly pulls Key away from the blade*

Todd: ...

Blood Puppet: That's it, then? We head back the way we came?

Key: *keeps fighting against Iratus, her angry screaming occasionally interrupted by a mournful sob, only to start right back up again--it was a heartbreaking, frightening noise*

Zorua: *is on the verge of turning and fleeing, ears flattened against her head* DDDDDDD8>

Claire: *is also incredibly unsettled by Key's cries--she repeats herself* Whatever we do, we can't STAY!

Sarah: Then let's LEAVE before it gets any WORSE! D8>

*the group flees, defeated*

Todd: *watches them leave with his blank eyes. In the shimmering half-sun, the guts and fresh blood dribbling from his fatal wound glisten* ...

Occulta: *to the necromancers* Let them run. Wait a day. Then send the body after them.

Necromancers: *nod*

Key: *is practically dragged off nearly the entire way, her cries eventually dying down into quiet sobs--she turns back in Iratus' arms*

Zorua: *is grateful that the noise has stopped, though she's pretty sure she'll never forget the sound*

Everyone else: *is greatly disturbed, and saddened*

*they walk all the way back to the lake. At that point, it's late out*

Altodd: *quietly walks over to Key and nudges her with his nose*

Everyone: *upset*

Key: *is still very upset, crying soundlessly--she doesn't respond to him*

Everyone: *upset*

Altodd: *he stands up onto his hind legs and holds onto Key's shoulders for support. He then gives her a tiny lick on the cheek*

Everyone: *upset*

Key: ... *lifts a hand and pets him, still crying*

Everyone: *upset*

Altodd: *whimpers and nuzzles her arm*

Blood Puppet: *once more he eyes the small, glistening lake* ...

Everyone: *sad*

Key: *grabs him and hugs him tightly, sobbing into the little werewolf's shoulder*

Everyone: *sad*

Altodd: *he licks her ear in return, not quite understanding what's going on*

Everyone: *sad*

Blood Puppet: ... *he leaves the group and walks over to the lake*

Key: *cries until she can't cry anymore. she eventually lets go of Altodd, giving the puppy a sad look, petting his head* ...

Mia: *notices Blood Puppet moving towards the lake, and wonders if she should stop him* D:> ...

Everyone else: *sad*

Altodd: *leans himself closer to her back so he can wrap his arms around her more, like a seat belt*

Key: *sighs a bit. having him there felt kind of... nice. she scratches him behind the ear*

Altodd: *he enjoys this and moves his little head closer to Key's*

Key: *smiles a bit, and keeps scratching*

Altodd: *lets out a little squeak of happiness*

Key: *laughs* You know, I never thought I'd call a werewolf adorable. X)

Altodd: *he sniffs, then huffs, and then rubs his head against Key's face*

Key: ! *smiles a bit wider and keeps petting him*

Altodd: *licks Key's cheek in response*

Key: *flinches away slightly* Agh, you and the licking... XP

*soon they reach the camp, the others were waking up, a few already awake*

Sarah: *is up--she notices them* ? Heheh. Looks like you've picked up a passenger, Key. X)

Key: Hey, it keeps him quiet. <:P

Altodd: *barks at Sarah*

Harry: ...

Sam: Why's he still a werewolf? It's daytime. :/

Lucifer: ... Maybe it's a side effect of the fountain of youth.

Key: *winces when he barks so close to her ear, and pets him, hoping it will keep him quiet* So he's just gonna be stuck like this forever? D:

Lucifer: I don't know how the magic in him works. Maybe. Maybe not.

Claire: ... I guess only time will tell. We should probably get moving. <:/

Altodd: *he keeps licking Key's hand until he yawns again*

Key: *pulls her hand away when he stops licking it, shaking it a bit to get the drool off* Tired?

Altodd: *flops over onto his side again with a huff*

Altodd: *comfortable there, he closes his eyes. He enjoys being pet*

Key: *keeps petting him, wondering when he'll fall asleep... and what he'll look like when he wakes up in the morning*

Altodd: *Being a puppy and having wasted all his energy scampering about, Altodd falls asleep rather easily*

Key: ... *pulls her hand away, and lays down next to the tiny werewolf, staring up at the branches. she closes her eyes and tries to rest*

*the next morning*

Altodd: *the sun shines down on his tiny sleeping form, but he is unchanged*

Key: *had glanced over at him every so often, wondering why in the world he hadn't changed back yet. her concern only grew when she saw the sun come up* .... :/

Altodd: *drowsily wakes up and immediately starts scampering around*

Key: Guh. D: *gets up* Come onnnn, it's too early for this. :I Altodd, get back here! D:

Altodd: *he looks over at Key, his eyes bright with childish glee, his tongue out and wagging with each pant. he then bolts off again, runs around a few times, then runs over to Key and climbs up her back like a monkey, holing onto her shoulders*

Key: --!! *nearly topples over backwards from the sudden weight on her shoulders. Having something hanging on her back felt... strange, to say the least, but at least it she didn't feel TOO uncomfortable...* Uff... okay. *she puts one hand over one of his, just to make sure he doesn't fall off, and starts walking back over to the group*

Altodd: *while hanging onto Key, he finds it necessary to lick her neck and the side of her face*

Key: *tries to nudge his snout away with her free hand* Euugh, no, cut that out. stop. please. D;

Altodd: *rests his head on his hand, near her face*

Key: THANK you... *wipes her face off, and keeps walking*

Altodd: *he struggles in Key's grip, his desperate cries for freedom sounding very similar to that of a bear cub*

Everyone: *somehow asleep*

Key: <___<;;; *carries Altodd away from the group, into the forest, not wanting to upset the others by waking them up* Altodd, shhhh...!

Altodd: *he reaches out a bit at the air, his arms still incredibly long, even as a puppy*

Key: Shhhhhh... *continues walking, not sure whether they were out of everyone else's earshot yet--Altodd's cries were incredibly loud to her* ...

Altodd: *he cries a a few more times before yawning (the sound he makes being a tiny squeak when he does this). When he closes his mouth he doesn't get all his tongue quite in and a little bit of it ends up poking slightly out of his lips. He looks around at the forest like this*

Key: ? *notices his silence, and peeks down at him. She can't conceal a smile--how in the world could a werewolf be this CUTE...? she stops walking* Hey. Altodd, if I put you down, do you promise not to run off?

Altodd: *His only answer is the licking of his own snout*

Key: *sighs, and decides to take the risk, gently setting him down, but still keeping her hands on him in case he tries to run off*

Altodd: *he sniffs the air, shakes himself off, then turns around to lick Key's arms*

Key: ! ... *crouches down to be at eye-level with Altodd, and pets him* ...

Altodd: *enjoys this, grinning and panting happily. He then flops over onto his side and rolls onto his back, asking for a belly rub*

Key: *smiles a bit, and obliges, rubbing his belly with both hands. she was grateful for the distraction*

Altodd: *grabs at Key's arm as she pets him, him only now realizing that he has opposable thumbs*

Key: ! *is caught a bit off-guard when he grabs her arm. she tries tugging it away*

Altodd: *his grip is easy to slide out of, but he quickly grabs onto her hand like a baby*

Key: ... *smiles a bit wider, and goes back to rubbing his belly with her other hand*

Altodd: *pulls the hand Key isn't petting him with down to his face so he can lick it and soak it in his drool*

Key: Ah... ewww... *decides not to pull her hand away, still rubbing his belly. at least he was being quiet and staying put...*

Altodd: *he sees Zorua and his first instinct is to bat at her fluffy and interesting tail*

Iratus: *growls at Altodd*

Blood Puppet: *he takes a glove off and stares at the bony, skeletal and withered hand underneath* ...

Zorua: ! *whips her tail away from him* (MY tail.) :I

Key: Altodd... be nice to the other kids... :P

Mia: *watches Blood Puppet quietly. He was really considering it, wasn't he?*

Altodd: *pounces on it happily, enjoying this new game*

Iratus: *snorts when he sees that Altodd is not causing any harm*

Blood Puppet: ... *after a minute or two, he puts the glove back on* ...

Zorua: :3 *pulls it away from him again*

Key: ..heheh...

Mia: ... *looks away from him*

Altodd: *swats at it*

Iratus: ...

Blood Puppet: *wonders if drinking from this lake... this "fountain of youth" can truly help him fix his relationship with Mia*

Zorua: *scampers off*

Key: !

Mia: *wonders exactly the same thing...*

Altodd: *chases after Zorua*

Iratus: !

Blood Puppet: *he believes that it's better to hold off on drinking from the lake until there's less risk in getting younger. His sword and talent are still needed, and he can't provide that if he accidentally turns himself into a child*

Zorua: *runs around the makeshift camp, keeping out of Altodd's reach* X3

Key: *watches them, her smile fading back into a depressed frown* ...

Mia: ... *sits down against a tree, closing her eyes* ...

Altodd: *happily chases Zorua around*

Lucifer: If Key can keep Altodd under control, then perhaps the rest of us can sleep.

Key: *sighs* I'll do my best...

Zorua: *stops* (Aww, we have to sleep?) <:C

Lucifer: Well, Key, you're stronger than Altodd now. It should be easy. Just get him to sit in your lap. Hah. *goes to lie down somewhere else*

Everyone: *finds a place to sleep*

Altodd: *scampers around wildly as a puppy does*

Key: *sighs, and looks over at Altodd* ...Hey. Hey, Altodd. Over here. :I

Everyone: *tries to sleep*

Altodd: *he pauses for a minute when he hears Key speak to him. He then jumps into a "play" stance, arms spread out in front of him, butt up in the air, and stub still wagging so hard it seems like it might fall off. Then he bolts off*

Everyone: *sleeping*

Key: !? *immediately chases after him*

Altodd: *runs around her for a few times, then back over to the group, then to the lake, then away from the lake, then left, then right, and all over the place*

Everyone: *asleep*

Key: *chases him around for a bit, starting to get just a little bit frustrated, until she finally catches him. she picks him up and holds onto him tightly, to make sure he wouldn't run off again* Gotcha.

Altodd: *he relaxes, calming down. His little tail stub wags a bit*

Everyone: *relieved*

Blood Puppet: *terrified*

Key: *relaxes a bit, petting his head* THERE we go...

SUDDENLY

A Minotaur: *bellows and charges out of the forest, straight for the group*

Everyone: D8!!?!??!? *SCATTERS*

Altodd: *he grabs Key and leaps out of the way. He then puts her down and roars at the beast that had disturbed them*

Everyone: D8

Minotaur: *bellows back at him, and charges at the werewolf, horns-first*

Minotaur: *snorts, then shoves harder--he grabs at Altodd's arms and forces him to let go of his horns, then throws him into the lake*

Altodd: *when he's thrown into the lake, the lake seems to glow. Altodd sinks*

Everyone: *doesn't know what to do* D8

Blood Puppet: *kinda of relieved*

Minotaur: *roars angrily, then turns and roars at the rest of the group*

Everyone: !!!!!!!!!!

Zorua: *bravely jumps on top of it, clamping her teeth down on its ear* D:<

Minotaur: !???! *tries to grab at her, but she's too small*

Iratus: *attacks the Minotaur, biting at it, clawing at it*

Blood Puppet: *slashes at it*

Sam: *shoots at it*

Harry and Lucifer: *don't do anything*

Key: *joins in the fight, clawing at it* D:<

Minotaur: *can't fight all of them--it eventually falls*

Sam: Good... Jeez... Is Altodd alright, y'think?

Lucifer: ... I think he's coming out of the lake right now.

Everyone: *looks*

Altodd: *is a little puppy werewolf, about three feet tall. He crawls out of the lake and shakes the water off*

Sam: *slowly shakes his head* I don't... I don't know...

Altodd: *he yips happily at Key, his tail stub wagging furiously*

Blood Puppet: *is much more comfortable being around a puppy than a very large dog*
