Key: *runs her claws through his fur to try and soothe him* Shhh, shhhh, it's okay, you'll be fine...

Mia: ! *reaches back and takes his hand, quietly reassuring him* It's okay...

Altodd: *Huffs a few times, but shakes the pain off*

Harry: Is he... Uh... Okay?

Todd: Oh, he'll be fine. He's a giant wolf monster, he can walk it off. A little arrow's not going to stop him.

Lucifer: ...

Blood Puppet: *Whimpers a little*

Key: That and he heals rather quickly.

Mia: *squeezes Blood Puppet's hand reassuringly*

Claire: ...We should probably get moving before more soldiers show up.

Blood Puppet: *calms down a little*

Lucifer: Good idea.

*They keep walking*

Claire: *is still very quiet*

Mia: *is trying to think of how she's going to confront Walter about the possible aging... dilemma*

Key: *walks along with Todd and Altodd* ...

*They walk until sunset, and then they stop*

Altodd: *Has grown to his full size, and is now fully back to normal: *He lets out another roar of pain as he slowly turns human again*

Altodd: *When he's finally fully human again, he stumbles forward a bit before collapsing, completely exhausted*

Todd: ... Clean-up on aisle... Uh, forest.

Lucifer: *He sighs* Anyone have a spare set of clothes?

Todd: C:

Lucifer: ... You took more than than one outfit?

Todd: In case the other one got dirty. Well, whatever -- Here. *He hands Lucifer the clothes*

Lucifer: *Takes them with a snort and spreads them out on top of Altodd to cover him temporarily until he can wear them*

Blood Puppet: *Feels much more relaxed now that Altodd is human again*

Mia: *finds this to be a good time to pull Blood Puppet away so she can talk to him. she edges away from the group, tugging him along with her*

Claire: ... *sits against a tree, still very quiet, still wondering. maybe she should talk to Harry about this...*

Blood Puppet: ! *Is tugged away* ... Is something wrong, Mia? <:/

Blood Puppet: *He keeps his hand tightly wrapped around his katana. He's nervous to be around Mia, as he has a sneaking suspicious that she's figured out what's wrong with him. Besides the obvious*

Harry: *Stays a few feet away from Claire at all times. He doesn't do this on purpose. He doesn't even REALIZE he's doing it*

Lucifer: *walks*

Altodd: *tags along behind Key*

Todd: *is happy enough*

Mia: *says nothing, but she's definitely going to confront Walter about this later...*

Claire: *continues to wonder and doubt, casting nervous glances at Harry every so often. what if he really DID hate her...?*

Key: *waggles her fingers at Altodd, beckoning him over. She'd have to be blind to not notice that Altodd's practically fully grown again, but she tries not to think about it too much*

Altodd: *Moves himself closer behind Key to lick her fingers*

Todd: *Rolls his eyes and shakes his head* >:/

Blood Puppet: *stays very quiet*

Harry: *stays away from Claire*

Lucifer: ...

*Suddenly --*

*Arrows are fired in the group's direction*

Lucifer: !! An ambush! D8<

Altodd: *With a ferocious roar, he swats an arrow out of the way, then grabs and breaks another*

Mia: !! *quickly ducks behind a tree, away from the arrows, as she really has no other means of defending herself*

Claire: ! *can smell an archer behind a tree, and runs over to grab him as he's nocking an arrow*

Key: !! *barely manages to deflect an arrow with her claws* D:

Blood Puppet: *Keeps close to Mia in order to protect her. He keeps his katana ready. Arrows are easier to block than bullets*

Life Army Squad: *Starts charging forward with swords drawn* RAAAH!

Altodd: *rips an attacker's throat out*

Todd: *Ducks and weaves his way through attacks into order to pick off the army one by one*

Harry: *Finds himself no longer able to go into his beast form, but tries remaining calm. He can't let Shezmul take control*

Lucifer: *Unable to die, he kills soldiers easily*

Key: *stabs and slashes at the soldiers, a bit less subtle than Todd*

Claire: *notices Harry not transforming, and stays close to him to protect him, picking people off with that crossbow she still had stashed away*

Mia: *really feels rather useless behind that tree, though she'd be more of a hindrance if she tried to help--she stays put* <:I

Everyone: *Fights*

Blood Puppet: *Stabs a charging soldier when he sees an opening in the man's neck. Once the enemy is dead, he picks up the fallen soldier's sword and hands it to Mia* Any idea how to use on of these?

Harry: *Feels terrible for not being able to help, and slightly anxious when Claire gets closer to him*

Mia: *takes the sword and grips it with both hands, not quite sure if she's even holding it correctly* A-Ah, um, MAYBE? D:>

Claire: *tries to ignore Harry's anxiety as she fights, but it really doesn't help that growing doubt in her mind*

Key: *slashes and maims, moving so quickly she was practically dancing around*

Blood Puppet: Try.

Todd: *Offhandedly pointing out* If Altodd was human, he'd be able to teach her.

Blood Puppet: The... dog?

Todd: Yeah, that one. *KILLS*

Harry: *Is defenseless*

Altodd: *Eats*

Key: Yeah, if he EVER turns back... *stabs a guy in the throat*

Mia: I can try. D;

Claire: *shoots things*

Blood Puppet: Well try now, we're running out of enemies.

Everyone: *Killing*

Mia: I-I'd rather not accidentally stab myself. 8I

Everyone: *kills things*

Blood Puppet: I doubt you'd do that. It's a long blade.

*All the soldiers are killed*

Mia: *laughs awkwardly* Ahaha... heheh... maybe next time...? *mentally smacks herself for not doing anything when she could have finally been useful*

Key: *wipes her claws off on a dead soldier's shirt* ...! Oh hey, Todd, you could probably swipe the clothes off of one of these guys...

Claire: *puts the crossbow away, still very quiet*

Blood Puppet: ... Next time.

Todd: Oh, uh... Good idea. *He goes through the bodies and finds clothes to wear*

Harry: *Feels awkward*

Mia: ... *awkwardly lowers her arms, the tip of the sword hitting the ground with a light "thump."* Ah, um... is there like, a sheath for this thing, or...?

Claire: ...

Key: *glances around, looking for Altodd* ...?

Blood Puppet: *looks around until he finds an empty sheathe* Here. *He gives it to her*

Harry: ... We should keep walking.

Todd: We should.

Altodd: *Is injured. There's an arrow in his shoulder. He whimpers*

Mia: *takes it* Thaaank you. *sticks the sword in it, then ties the belt around her waist. having that weight on one side was rather... odd, to say the least. hopefully she'll get used to it*

Key: Oh, hang on. *goes over to Altodd, rubbing his arm* It's okay, let me get that out for you... *reaches up and grabs the arrow, and once she has a firm hold on it, she yanks it out*

Claire: *scrunches up her nose at the smell of werewolf blood*

Blood Puppet: *He can't help but smile from this. He speaks in a whisper* ... Goodnight, Mia. *He leans against her a little*

Mia: *smiles at this. she's tired enough to fall asleep within minutes*

*The Next Morning*

Todd: *He's still asleep against Key*

Harry: *Wakes up groggily* ...Guh...?

Blood Puppet: *Keeps still for Mia*

Lucifer: *Has returned, and is silent*

Altodd: *Is almost as big as a normal werewolf now*

Claire: *is asleep*

Key: *looks around at the others, keeping still for Todd*

Mia: *is groggily waking up* mnn...?

Harry: *Scoots a bit away from Claire, knowing what she did last night. He's understanding but a bit uncomfortable. This is Shezmul's doing - playing tricks on Harry's mind in order to add fuel to the fire*

Lucifer: *waits for the others*

Todd: *waking up* ...?

Blood Puppet: *Seeing that Mia is waking up, he rubs her shoulder a bit. He notices how big Altodd has gotten and becomes worried* ... D:>

Key: ! *looks back down at Todd, kissing the top of his head* Good morning...

Claire: *waking up* ...? *finds it odd that Harry's so far away all of a sudden* mn...?

Mia: *is currently oblivious to his worry. she snuggles closer to him* mmmorning...

Todd: *Smiles up at her, his blue eyes meeting her white and red ones* G'morning. <:)

Harry: *Quietly* Uh... Hi, Claire. >__>;

Blood Puppet: ... 'Morning.

Lucifer: ...

Altodd: *yawns*

Key: *find his smile to be as infectious as always, and leans in to nuzzle him* <3

Claire: ...Hey, Harry... :/

Mia: *gives him a small smile, then gets up, stretching*

Todd: *Nuzzles Key back, happy, feeling much better after Lucifer's work on him*

Harry: ... How are... You? Feeling less hungry? >__>;

Lucifer: *Raises an eyebrow at this*

Blood Puppet: *He gets up with her, his eyes constantly wandering back over to Altodd*

Altodd: *stretches*

Key: *kisses his cheek, indescribably happy. she just... she couldn't believe he was back*

Claire: *quietly, that doubt growing in the back of her mind again* yes...

Mia: *notices him glancing over, and follows his gaze* !!

Todd: *He then sits up, careful to not accidentally hit Key. He moves himself so he's next to her* Y'know, the voices aren't so bad now... There's a lot less of them... And they're quieter. <:)

Lucifer: ...

Harry: *Seems genuinely relieved* ...Well that's good.

Blood Puppet: ... He's r-really big now...

Altodd: *is*

Key: That's really great news... <:)

Claire: *is visibly distraught--was Shezmul actually right...?*

Mia: Um. Yes, I can see that. D:

Todd: It IS... *he happily nuzzles her neck*

Lucifer: We should get moving.

Harry: *Stands up* Good idea.

Blood Puppet: *Looks over at Mia* ...

Claire: *also stands, silent*

Key: *nuzzles him back, incredibly happy, but then she notices the others moving, and lets out a small, disappointed sigh* Time to go.

Mia: *really doesn't like the fact that the effects of the lakewater seemed to be wearing off... she casts a concerned glance at Blood Puppet*

Todd: Alllllrighty, then. <:P *He gets up and stretches*

Blood Puppet: *looks away from Mia, ashamed* ...

*They all start walking*

Mia: *is now a bit nervous--what if all that hiding and questioning last night was because the effects of the lake were starting to wear off on him too...? Why didn't she figure that out EARLIER...??*

Claire: *has noticed that Harry's been keeping his distance, and that seed of doubt Shezmul planted in her thoughts only grows. did Harry really think of her that way?*

Key: *walks along with the rest of them, hand in hand with Todd, oblivious to the others' concerns due to her own happiness*

Blood Puppet: *He kisses back, kisses just as deeply, finding himself soon lost in the kiss and the power behind it*

Mia: *briefly wonders if she should try taking the mask off... she raises a hand and touches the mask, but hesitates... and decides it's too much of a risk. she didn't need to make him angry, not now. she continues to kiss him, wrapping her arms around him*

Blood Puppet: *He touches her back as she does this, enjoying their little moment*

Mia: *after a few more moments, she pulls away a bit, panting slightly, staring into his eyes through the mask, truly wishing that he would just take the damn thing off*

Blood Puppet: *He stares right back for a while, then moves away to click the mouth-piece back into place* ...

Mia: *sighs a bit, and pulls away, slightly disappointed* ...

Blood Puppet: ... *He places his hands gently on her shoulders* ... I love you, Mia. I will do everything in my power in order to make you happy.

Mia: *puts her hand over one of his* ...Okay. I'll try my best to do the same.

Blood Puppet: You're already doing a great job. Don't worry. <:)

Mia: *gives him a warm smile, and hugs him around the waist, holding him close*

Blood Puppet: *Lets Mia do this and, in fact, hugs her back*

Mia: *still hugging him* ...Do you think I could get some sleep now?

Blood Puppet: ... ! I'm sorry. I forgot that you need to sleep. Please, go ahead.

Mia: *lets go of him, but takes his hand and pulls him back over to the tree, sitting down against it and tugging him down with her*

Blood Puppet: ! *He is confused about this, but doesn't fight Mia. He trusts her* :/

Mia: *doesn't do much other than rest her head on his shoulder and stretch an arm across his chest, letting out a quiet sigh* Goodnight...

Altodd: *Does nothing* :L

Mia: *rubs the back of his hand with her thumb* It's okay. Just take a deep breath, and try to calm down. There's no danger here.

Blood Puppet: *He tries relaxing, doing as Mia has instructed. He calms down a bit, petting Altodd a little* O-Okay... Okay...

Altodd: *wags his stub*

Mia: *grins* There, see? He's happy. Good job. :) *takes her hand off his, to allow him to pull away if he wanted (or needed) to. she scratches behind Altodd's ear*

Blood Puppet: *He manages to keep his hand there for a few more seconds before pulling away*

Mia: *smiles over at Blood Puppet as she pets Altodd, genuinely proud of him for this seemingly small accomplishment*

Blood Puppet: *He looks over at Mia with a wide smile, but seeing as Mia can't see this, Blood Puppet just pulls her into a tight hug*

Altodd: *Pants happily*

Mia: !! *hugs him back with equal force, hoping that the previous conversation had been forgotten, if only for the time being...*

Blood Puppet: *Quietly, still hugging Mia* Okay... Okay, so he's not that bad... Thanks.

Altodd: *Gets up and trots away*

Blood Puppet: *He nuzzles her back as best as he can with the mask on. Despite making the action easier, he refuses to take it off*

Mia: *frowns a bit when she feels his mask against her head. She pulls away slightly, and reaches up to remove it*

Blood Puppet: *immediately grabs Mia's hand and pulls it away from his mask* ... No. You can't touch that.

Mia: *tries to pull her hand out of his grip* I'm tired of not being able to see your face, Walt... <:(

Blood Puppet: *Keeps his grip on Mia's arm tight* ... Trust me, it's better if you just didn't.

Mia: ...Then can i just... *tries to pull her arm a bit lower, towards the bottom piece of his mask*

Blood Puppet: ... *He lets her do this, letting go of her arm* ...

Mia: *pulls off the bottom piece of the mask, then slowly inches forward, and kisses him. she quickly tries to deepen it, a longing, a need behind it*

Mia: *there's a hint of disappointment in her expression, but it was mostly all worry--she leans back against the tree, looking down at her feet* ...

Blood Puppet: *He sits there awkwardly, close to her, but in his mind, he is very far away. Distant. If only it wasn't like this* ...

Mia: ... *quietly leans her head against his shoulder, hoping to get SOME kind of reaction out of him... she was starting to feel more alone than ever*

Blood Puppet: *Wishes that the effects of the lake youth-water were permanent. If only...*

Mia: ... *hugs him, nuzzling into his shoulder, STILL silently hoping for a response*

Blood Puppet: *He looks over at Mia when she does this* ... *Silently, he hugs her back. He hugs her tightly and with slightly shaking features*

Mia: *she almost seems to relax a bit, if only for a moment, until she feels him shaking--then, she instead tightens her grip on him, hugging him closer, nuzzling into his neck* ...

Blood Puppet: *He never lets go* ... I-I'm sorry...

Mia: *quietly* ...It's okay... I just... just remember that you can tell me anything, okay?

Mia: *sighs, then gets up, grabs his arm, and stands him up before pulling him back over to the tree*

Shezmul: *Is annoyed but does not show it. He keeps his grin* Mehnit IS a terrible liar. Good thing I am not. Now at least ONE of us can be reliable. Really, a good lie would be 'Harry loves you completely and unconditionally, Claire. He could not care less about your disturbing and disgusting and horrific thirst for blood.' Blood Puppet: *He calms down a lot by this, and under his mask, he smiles at Mia. He slips down the mouth-piece on the mask and lightly kisses her*

Key: ...I know it's hard, but you have to try and ignore him. Their whole EXISTENCE centers around pissing people off.

Claire: Mm... *hugs Harry a bit closer*

Key: <:/ ...

Mia: ! *had been caught a bit off-guard by that, but she happily kisses back*

Harry: *doesn't mind*

Shezmul: *Is pleased*

Todd: *...*

Altodd: *Tree*

Blood Puppet: *kisses her for a bit longer before ending it. He takes off his mask and puts it aside, hoping his aged features aren't too noticeable*

Claire: *closes her eyes to try and sleep, but shezmul's words continue to plague her mind. She knew he had to be lying, but... what if...?*

Key: ... *sighs, and rests against Todd again*

Mia: *doesn't really notice the change--it was too dark for her to see very well. she smiles at him* That's better. *sits down, tugging him down with her*

Harry and Todd: *asleep*

Altodd: *Treeing*

Blood Puppet: *He lets her do so, a smile on his face. Blood Puppet sits beside her and nuzzles the side of her head*

Key: *resting*

Claire: *trying to sleep*

Mia: *nuzzles him back, kissing his cheek. she keeps her voice low* You should keep that mask off more often...

Todd: *unconscious*

Harry: *walks back over to Claire*

Lucifer: *Notices Claire's smile at him and looks away a bit, his own smile growing a with and his face reddening slightly*

Altodd: *His tail stub wags from this and he pants happily*

Blood Puppet: *visibly shaking from Altodd's presence*

Key: *sits there, hugging him*

Claire: *laughs a little bit at Lucifer's sudden bashfulness, finding it slightly amusing, even though she knows of the circumstances that caused it. She turns her attention back to Harry* :)

Mia: *looks over at Blood Puppet, a bit surprised (and here I thought I was the one that was scared...) she keeps petting Altodd* ...I don't think he's going to hurt you, Walt...

Todd: *asleep and relieved*

Harry: *smiles at Claire, unaware of Lucifer's feelings*

Lucifer: *watches them, his smile fading. He wanders off, alone*

Altodd: *nuzzles his snout against Mia's body* Rrrhh...

Blood Puppet: *still backing away and shaking* Aha! Ahaha! You don't THINK he'll 'urt me, but beasts like THAT one LOVE it! Oh yes, nothing good comes from large, foaming, angry MUTTS!

Key: *rests her head against his*

Claire: *notices Lucifer leave out of the corner of her eye, but doesn't watch him go--if Harry knew, his friendship with Lucifer could be at stake, no matter how many times she stresses that she has no feelings for him (which is the truth--that was her OTHER self). she looks over at Todd and Key instead* ...Hopefully this'll make things a little easier...

Mia: *scratches behind Altodd's ears, looking over at Walter* ...What happened to make you so scared of them...?

Harry: I'm sure it will. It hurt me to see Todd in so much confusion and pain... Now things can be... close to normal again. <:)

Todd: *Somewhat more at peace with himself*

Altodd: *happy on Mia's lap, though he lifts his head and looks over at Blood Puppet, noticing how afraid the man is of him* Rf.

Blood Puppet: I-I just, erm... It was just... It was an a-accident, I suppose. Junk yard dog. First few weeks away from home. Not a v-very GOOD experience, no... D8

Lucifer: *Misses Claire - the OTHER Claire - more than he realized. He keeps walking* ...

Key: *hugs him close, almost protectively, rather unwilling to let him go--oh no, she wouldn't let him go so easily, not after just having gotten him back*

Claire: *nods* Mhmm... close as they'll ever be, at least...

Mia: *still petting Altodd* Oh... Well... do you wanna try and work on that? I think that if he wanted to hurt you, he already would've. <:(

Harry: ... You know, even with this strange war going on, this is better than the massive brawl we had to go through every day in the Between World... And more peaceful than the hordes of zombies. I welcome this place with open arms. <:P

Todd: *Is asleep and peaceful and quite safe with Key*

Blood Puppet: I have no reason to try befriending an DISGUSTING and DANGEROUS animal like THAT! He'll bite me in the end, you know! They all do, so no doubt HE will as well!

Altodd: *cocks his head to the side, then decides to reach up and lick Mia's face*

Blood Puppet: Bwaaha! It's touching you! D8

Claire: I can agree with that, actually... We actually get a chance to BREATHE here...

Key: *is happy to have him there*

Mia: *laughs a bit, gently nudging Altodd's snout away from her face* That he is. XP

Harry: ... It's nice. <:) *He sits down against a tree*

Todd: *asleep*

Altodd: *whines and licks Mia's fingers*

Claire: *nods in agreement, sitting down against the tree next to him* Speaking of nice... do you mind if I um...?

Key: *closes her eyes to try and get some rest*

Mia: Because he is totally going to lick my face off. <:P He's just a big ol' puppy.

Harry: *He's about to agree when Shezmul sends that wave of fear at him. He instantly starts scooting away from Claire* I-I'm sorry, b-but I just - I can't - it's not you, it's me, u-uh...

Todd: *asleep*

Altodd: *sits up and climbs onto Mia's shoulders in order to hop onto a tree and climb it quickly to the top*

Blood Puppet: ... A MASSIVE puppy. With TEETH. D8

Claire: *sighs* Right. Time to do this the hard way. *scoots closer to him, practically sitting herself in his lap to keep him from moving any farther, then leans in and whispers* It's alright, Harry, it doesn't hurt--remember how good it feels? Remember how nice it feels for the both of us?

Key: *...*

Mia: *is slightly smushed by Altodd's weight until he gets off her shoulders* Oof... It's no big deal, I had a dog back at my dad's house. Nothing I ain't used to. <:P

Harry: *It only takes a few seconds for Harry's eyes to shift from alert and fearful to glassy and distant, locked on Claire's face and unable to pull away* Felt... Good...? *That dopey grin grows on his face* ... Yes... yes, feet nice... For both of us...

Todd: *asleep*

Altodd: *At the top of the tree, he howls*

Blood Puppet: *cowers* Muuhh...! D8>

Claire: *frowns a bit, not happy that she has to do this to him, but she really had no other choice, did she? she sighs, and leans into his neck, sinking her fangs into his throat*

Key: *...*

Mia: *laughs a little bit, but it quickly fades when she realizes that's how SHE'S been feeling about practically everything else in this crazy fantasy world. she looks up at Altodd in the tree, and sighs--at least there was ONE thing she sort of knew she could handle...*

Harry: *lets out a pleased moan, enjoying the feeling. His mind is fuzzy and adrift in his head, reasoning gone, as this is the effect Claire's power has over him. Shezmul's words are completely ignored - even nonexistent - as his focus stays on his soul-mate, the vampire. In his charmed state, it isn't just that Harry's thoughts are weakened and he behaves almost like a drunk, but even when, normally, his opinion of Claire regards her as a truly amazing, wonderful person... This charming, this warping of his mind, has made it so that Claire, in every way, is completely perfect to him. Like a goddess, almost. No, not almost. "Goddess" is a perfect description of Claire as she is now to Harry. It doesn't help that as she drinks his blood, Harry is getting sexually aroused. If not for Claire's mind-warping beforehand, Harry would be in pain and fighting to force the vampire off*

Todd: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: Why were you laughing...? D8>

Altodd: *Continues to howl*

Claire: *drinks her fill, letting out the occasional quiet moan as she does so. She truly hates having to exert her influence over him like this (why couldn't it just be like before, when they could both consciously enjoy it?), and hopes that as he gains more control over that accursed demon, that he'll be able to ignore its influence when it really matters. For now, this would have to do. She keeps drinking, a hand combing through his hair*
