*They walk until the sun sets low, then they find a place to stop and rest. It's a rather open patch in the forest. The night sky can be seen clearly for once*

Altodd: *Howls at the moon*

Lucifer: ...

Harry: ... I guess it's time, then?

Blood Puppet: *He uses this time to separate from Mia temporarily. He walks away and takes off his gloves to allow himself to feel the cool air. He jumps a bit at the sight of his own hands -- they look aged...* ...

Mia: *sits down against a tree, pulling her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around herself. She felt vulnerable, and that wasn't something she enjoyed at all* ...

Claire: *looks over at Altodd, wrinkling her nose a bit, then looks up at the sky as well* ...

Key: *plans to stay very near Todd while Lucifer tries again*

Blood Puppet: *Does and does not want a mirror at the same time. He wonders how old he's gotten. The youth-water was wearing off THIS quickly??*

Todd: *Leans against a tree* <:/ ...

Harry: *Puts a hand on Claire's arm*

Altodd: *continues to howl*

Mia: *looks over at Blood Puppet, as if trying to will him to come back over to her. She hates how scared she feels. It's as if she was completely in the dark, she doesn't know what to do, where to go, and she hates it*

Key: *sits by him, and puts a hand on his shoulder* <:(

Claire: ! *looks over at Harry* ... *puts her hand over his, rubbing it with her thumb, giving him a tired look--she wished they could just stop walking...*

Blood Puppet: *he decides to keep his rapid aging a secret from everyone, but how long can he keep a charade like that up? He puts his gloves back on and walks back over to Mia* ...

Todd: *leans against Key slightly. He closes his eyes and shudders*

Harry: *As if reading her mind* ... This will all be over soon.

Altodd: *after a while, he ceases howling*

Lucifer: ... Is Todd ready?

Claire: I really do hope so...

Mia: ! *sits a bit more upright, trying (and failing) to hide her general discomfort*

Key: *nuzzles Todd's cheek* Are you ready?

Harry: ... We just need to take down Occulta and get the eyes back. It's out one goal. No "side quests" anymore.

Todd: *looks over at Key, then at Lucifer* ... I guess so. *He slowly stands up*

Lucifer: ... This will be hard, Todd Huntings.

Todd: I know.

Lucifer: In the end - hopefully - it will also be beneficial.

Todd: I know that too.

Blood Puppet: What's wrong, Mia?

Claire: The question is, how long will that take us...?

Key: *stands up with Todd, and steps back to give them room. she was ready to intervene at any point* ...

Mia: Ah, um... I... *sighs, and looks down at her feet* I don't know.

Harry: ... Lucifer knows what he's doing. Not long.

Blood Puppet: ... You seem like you do. *Lightly touches her face* Come on, tell me. Maybe I can help.

Lucifer: *for a second, he hesitates, then steps forward and grabs Todd's head*

Todd: *immediately starts screaming*

Altodd: *With a yelp he scampers away from them a bit*

Lucifer: Tries his best to remain in control of the situation, never once letting it blow out of proportion like last time -- He is ready this time* D-DON'T STRUGGLE! D-DON'T -- WE CAN DO THIS, HUNTINGS, JUST STAY STILL! *His eyes start to bleed the black goop again*

Claire: *nods, then turns to look at Todd and Lucifer when she suddenly hears screaming* !

Key: !! *steps forward as if to try and stop them*

Mia: *is about to speak until the sudden commotion startles her, making her jump a bit. she groans, and thumps her head back against the tree, exasperated with herself*

Harry: *he stares at Todd and Lucifer, watching the both of them carefully* ...

Blood Puppet: *He looks over at Todd and Lucifer, then back at Mia* ...

Todd: *still screaming, he claws at Lucifer's back, trying desperately to get him off. His eyes are that pure, inky black again*

Lucifer: *He still tries maintaining control. Todd's claws gets his back, but don't harm him. They only tear at his suit a bit. He speaks to Key without looking at her* WE'RE FINE! IT'S OKAY, I THINK I'M CLOSE!

Altodd: *Whimpers*

Key: *reluctantly backs away*

Claire: *watches with Harry* ...

Mia: *also watches, fear apparent in her features. She wasn't sure it would succeed. She wasn't sure what could happen if it did, or didn't...*

Blood Puppet: *Keeps a hand on Mia* ...

Harry: *watches, tense*

Lucifer: *A little bit longer, and finally, Lucifer is able to release Todd on his own. The angel stumbles back a few steps, managing to use a tree to catch himself before he falls. He huffs*

Todd: *Isn't as lucky, and collapses onto the ground*

Lucifer: ... H-he's okay... He's okay ENOUGH, now.

Mia: *relaxes a bit, but only barely--she still doesn't know how Todd will react*

Key: !! *immediately goes to sit Todd up and make sure he's okay* Todd? D:>

Claire: ...

Todd: *He's right on the edge of losing consciousness. He gives Key a tiny - but still noticeable - smile, then passes out on her*

Lucifer: ... He's better now... Good enough. *Trying to shake off his dizziness* Good enough...

Harry: <:D

Blood Puppet: ... Everything's okay now.

Key: *laughs a bit in relief, and hugs Todd tightly*

Claire: <:) ...

Mia: *finally allows herself to relax, though she could never bring herself to fully lower her guard* ...

Todd: *Rests comfortably in Key's arms*

Harry: *Separates from Claire in order to walk over to Lucifer and give him a pat on the shoulder* ... Okay. You're not such a bad guy after all. <:)

Lucifer: *Gives Harry a weak little smile, happy that he has finally accepted him as a friend*

Altodd: *Now sensing that the terrible thing is over, he scampers back over to the others and climbs onto Mia's lap* Hrf.

Blood Puppet: *BACKS THE HELL AWAY FROM THE LARGE DOG* !!!!

Key: *holds him tightly, combing her claws through his hair*

Claire: *stays where she is, but she also sends an accepting smile in Lucifer's direction*

Mia: *jumps, a bit startled (dammit, stop DOING that, Mia...!) she hesitantly pets the werewolf's head* ...

Lucifer: This team's morale is low enough without the likes of two demekarrs. Stop trying to make things worse.

Todd: *he jumps, startled by a noise behind him. When he looks, there's nothing there. Another hallucination. He sighs*

Harry: *tries ignoring Shezmul and Mehnit*

Altodd: *growls at the demekarrs*

Blood Puppet: *keeps his arm there for Mia. He looks over at her and smiles, forgetting that he's wearing his mask*

Key: D:! *hugs him a bit more tightly*

Mia: *looks up when he looks down, but isn't quite sure what he's thinking due to the mask he was wearing... she frowns a bit*

Claire: *does the same as Harry*

Mehnit: Tch... *suddenly hisses loudly at Altodd*

Blood Puppet: ... What's wrong?

Todd: *he covers his mouth tightly with a hand, eyes wide and wet from forming tears as screams go off in his head. He's shaking. This is becoming too much for him to handle. He stumbles a bit while walking and if it wasn't for Key's grip on him, he would have fallen*

Harry: *notices* !

Altodd: *Suddenly roars loudly, and rather feral-like at Mehnit, his teeth glistening in the sunlight*

Key: ! *holds Todd up when he stumbles* Todd, what's wrong--!

Mia: ... I can't see your--*jumps when Altodd roars* --!!!??!!?

Mehnit: *was definitely not expecting that* !!!!

Claire: !!!

Blood Puppet: *tightens his grip on Mia protectively* !! DB<

Harry: Careful, Key - He might accidentally hurt you while trying to attack Mehnit!

Shezmul: THAT would be fun... Gahaha...

Altodd: *Roars again, not as loud this time. His fur bristles in anger, having accepted Mehnit's challenge*

Lucifer: D8< ...

Todd: *just whimpers*

Mia: *clings to Blood Puppet* D8

Claire: D:!!!

Mehnit: *snarls back at Altodd, egging him on*

Key: Mehnit, shut UP...!!

Altodd: *TRIES SLASHING AT MEHNIT --*

Todd: *GRABS ALTODD BY THE WRIST AND THROWS HIM TO THE GROUND*

Altodd: *Because he is no longer a puppy, he is not as fragile and not as hurt as last time this happens. Still, he whimpers*

Key: D:>!!! *casts a furious glare at Mehnit, then huffs, trying to calm herself down before the demekarr takes advantage of her*

Mehnit: *doesn't even try. she just grins and snickers*

Mia: D:>!!

Claire: !! ...

Altodd: *Backs away from the group, whimpering*

Todd: Goddamnit! That's what you get for trying to attack key, you son of a dog! D8<

Harry: Todd, calm down! He was trying to attack Mehnit, not Key! D:<

Lucifer: *calmly* He won't listen. He's insane.

Harry: You're not helping right now. >:/

Shezmul: *cackles*

Mehnit: *is practically giggling maliciously*

Key: *is trying oh so very hard not to snap at the demekarr* Todd, just leave him alone, he didn't mean it, okay?

Claire: Lucifer, can't you do something about this?

Lucifer: No. My powers will not silence the demekarrs outside their hosts, I can't help Todd, and there's no point in doing anything to Altodd.

Todd: *Snorts and tries calming down*

THE RACCOON: *POOFAPPEARS* IT'S FUNNY HOW YOU AND TODD ARE TOGETHER, KEY, SINCE IN ANOTHER RP, YOU AND HARRY ARE TOGETHER. AND IT'S PRETTY CUTE.

Harry: WHAT?? D8

Todd: WHAT?? *suddenly glares darkly at Harry*

Harry: Todd, they can bend reality! This doesn't mean anything, there are billions of alternate universes in existence! D8

Todd: *Snarls at Harry*

Altodd: *Whimpers*

Mehnit: *is laughing giddily at the chaos she managed to spark*

Todd: *His glare quickly dies on his face, followed by a pained look. God, he was actually accusing Harry of doing that? How much more will this illness of his screw around with his perception of reality?* ... I-I'm sorry, Harry... I-I just --

Harry: Save your breath, I know.

Lucifer: ... I may have to force myself to... To try again.

Todd: What?

Lucifer: If we have another instance like this, it may be necessary to try curing you of your psychosis again.

Blood Puppet: You're positive that's a good idea?

Lucifer: Everyone needs to get ready.

Everyone: *gets ready*

Death City Soldier: *Approaches the group*

Shidako: *is the first to notice--she turns and hisses quietly at the soldier*

Everyone else: *hears her, and also turns to look* !

Death City Soldier: I serve as a messenger for Bibentus. Seeing as Life City has begun a massive invasion, our lord is requesting help from members of your group.

Lucifer: We are on an important mission.

Death City Soldier: Our city is just as important as your mission.

Lucifer: ... Shidako, Iratus, Zorua, Sam, and Sarah. It would be greatly appreciated if you can part from the group for the time being to protect Death City.

Sam: But wait - Why only the five of us? D:

Lucifer: This way, the power is split among the groups. You will all serve as a good defense, and the rest of us can carry on the mission.

Todd: *holds his head, grimacing from the pain*

Harry: ... That seems fair. Any objections?

Shidako: D:>! *glances over at Altodd--she really would rather not leave him...*

Sarah: ... *shakes her head. she has no objections.*

Zorua: *steps a little closer to Iratus--she was glad Lucifer put the two of them together, but...*

Mia: *is sad to see the two younger ones go* <:/

Lucifer: Alright then. All of you go follow the soldier to Death City. The rest of us will try stopping Occulta before things get worse.

Everyone: *nods*

*The two groups sadly go their separate ways*

Zorua: *scampers back over to Todd after their group leaves, giving him a brief hug before putting the pink bottle in his hands* Be careful, okay? <:( *runs off after her own group*

Key: ! ...

Claire: <:/

Todd: *He hugs her back before she leaves* ... Don't worry about me, I'll be fine...

Lucifer: Come on.

*They start walking*

Key: *walks along next to Todd, rather quiet, occasionally glancing over at Altodd to make sure he doesn't do something crazy*

Claire: *is silent* ...

Mia: *feels slightly less safe in the smaller group--as if they were more vulnerable now that there were less of them. she stays near Blood Puppet* ...

Todd: *As they walk, every so often, he twitches. His free hand nervously fiddles with his bandages - the only things covering him at this point*

Altodd: *trots along happily*

Blood Puppet: *keeps his mask on and stays close to Mia as she stays close to him. His katana is made ready to slice anything that comes near her*

Harry: *walks along silently. He lightly touches his stub-arm* ...

Key: *notices this, and mentally smacks herself for not noticing earlier-- she slips her cloak off her shoulders, and holds it out to Todd so he can cover himself up at least a little bit* <:(

Mia: *is uncharacteristically quiet. she grabs onto Blood Puppet's arm, a hint of fear in her eyes*

Claire: *puts a hand on his shoulder, giving him a sympathetic look* <:(

Todd: *He gives Key a small, grateful smile, and wears the cloak around his shoulders. Not much, but better than nothing*

Altodd: *trots along*

Blood Puppet: ! *Is somewhat surprised by Mia suddenly grabbing his arm, and he looks over at her, confused* ... ?

Lucifer: *Walks in silence. He wonders if Occulta has moved on by now* ...

Harry: *Returns Claire's look with one of sadness*

Shezmul: *Suddenly appears* Well SOMEONE has to say something.

Mia: !! *jumps a bit, startled, her grip on Blood Puppet's arm tightening slightly* ...

Mehnit: *appears, looking visibly frustrated* The silence is driving me MAD! Snrf. *she casts a glare at Key, obviously unhappy with being silenced while in her mind*

Key: *glares right back*

Claire: We don't say anything because we don't HAVE to. >:/

Shezmul: Well that's boring.

Harry: *Growling* We're not here to amuse you.

Shezmul: I could force you to amuse us anyway. >:)

Todd: *suddenly snaps* You demon shut up, okay?? We've had a hard enough time already, w-we don't need you pissing people off and stuff!

Shezmul: "Hard enough time"? You mean the one you caused, Huntings? >:)

Todd: *Is about ready to murder someone, and it's easy to tell by his expression*

Altodd: *barks at Shezmul and Mehnit*

Lucifer: ... Everyone calm down. Now.

Key: *grabs his arm and tugs him back slightly, ready to restrain him if need be* It's not worth it, Todd, you can't touch them... D:>

Mia: ....

Claire: *huffs, Harry's irritation with Shezmul seeping over to her* >:/ ...

Blood Puppet: *pulls his arm out of Mia's grip so he can slip it around her shoulders* ...

Todd: I-It must... It must really S-SUCK to have a voice in your head... Huh?

Harry: *staring right at Todd, he nods a little, silently* ...

Shezmul: Oh boo hoo, whatever.

Lucifer: Silence, demekarr.

Mia: *puts an arm around his middle, grateful for his comfort* ....

Mehnit: *scoffs* You're no fun, angel.

Key: *puts an arm around Todd's shoulders, understanding--she just wished there was a way to silence his voices like they silenced Mehnit's* ...

Todd: Mh... *He smiles back at her, still a bit sleepy* ... Hey...

Harry: *smiles at this*

Iratus: *asleep*

Blood Puppet: *Very awake* ...

Key: I'm guessing you slept well?

Claire: *wakes up, and gives Harry a drowsy smile*

Mia: *is asleep on Blood Puppet's shoulder*

Zorua: *looks at the pink potion between her paws, hoping they won't need it anytime soon* ...

Todd: Well enough... *He sits up and gives Key a small smile*

Claire: Morning... Sleep well?

Key: *sits up with him, smiling back* Well, it's better than nothing, right? :)

Zorua: ! *nuzzles into his side* (morning...)

Todd: *Though guilt still plagues his mind, as does insanity, he feels content like this*

Harry: *allows Claire to help him up* :)

Blood Puppet: Good morning...

Zorua: *switches to her human form, picks up the bottle, and proceeds to rub Iratus' neck* ^^

Mia: *drowsily* good morning...

Key: *really wishes she knew what was going on in Todd's head, if only so she could help him better... but he was there, and he was happy, and that was good enough for now*

Iratus: *flops over onto his back, grinning in happiness*

Todd: ... What will we do today, I wonder... Besides walk.

Blood Puppet: How did you sleep?

Harry: *looks over at Todd and stops smiling immediately* ... :(

Zorua: *also grins, and decides to rub his belly instead* ^^

Mia: *smiles a bit* I slept okay. :) Did you at least get some rest?

Key: ...We never really do much at all... well, BESIDES walk... as long as we don't run into anyone, i mean...

Claire: *follows his gaze, and also frowns* <:/

Iratus: *Pants happily*

Blood Puppet: Sort of. I can't sleep ever. I just stayed with you. <:)

Todd: Y-yeah... that's... That's okay... *Winces at a shriek he hears in his head. A memory? He is unsure*

Zorua: *rubrub*

Key: *notices this, and gives him a worried look*

Mia: Oh... well, okay. <:)

Claire: ... *puts a hand on Harry's shoulder, rubbing it with her thumb* <:(

Iratus: *happy*

Todd: *Quietly* ... I-I'm okay... *winces again. Another loud noise* I'm just hearing things.

Harry: D:> *He puts a hand on Claire's*

Blood Puppet: *he kisses her on the cheek, then stands up and puts on his mask* I suppose it's time to get going?

Lucifer: Just about.

Zorua: *glances over at Lucifer, still rubbing Iratus' belly*

Mia: Mmh. *also stands up, stretching*

Claire: ...

Shidako: *nudges Altodd awake*

Todd: *He quickly sits up and looks around* I-I was...? D8> *He then looks over at Key* ... R-right... O-okay... Thanks for w-waking me up...

Key: No problem... <:( ...Can I ask what you were dreaming about?

Todd: ... *Mumbles* ... Just flashes. Uncomfortable flashes of... Nonsense.

Key: ...Okay. Do you think you'll be able to sleep?

Todd: *He shudders* ... I-I don't know...

Key: <:( ... Well, you go ahead and try, and I'll wake you up again if I have to, okay?

Todd: *quietly* ... O-Okay... *He shuts his eyes again, really hoping that he doesn't get bombarded with horrifying images again*

Key: <:( ... *lays down next to him, and puts an arm over him, pulling him closer to her*

Todd: *He hugs her when she does this, begging himself not to have another nightmare like before*

Key: *hugs him close, slowly rubbing his back, trying to coax him back into falling asleep... she hopes she won't have to wake him up again...*

Todd: *Still exhausted, it doesn't take long for Todd to fall back asleep, snuggled up against Key*

Key: *nuzzles him gently, still rubbing his back* ... <3

Todd: *Again he's smiling in his sleep*

Key: *smiles at this. she hoped that this would all turn out okay...*

Todd: *He manages to avoid having another nightmare for the rest of the night*

The Next Day

Todd: *Still asleep*

Lucifer: *Awake* ...

Harry: *Waking up* ...?

Claire: *asleep*

Key: *awake, still holding Todd*

Zorua: *has bee awake for a little while, snuggled against Iratus*

Iratus: *Snuggled against Zorua, asleep*

Harry: *Nuzzles Claire lovingly* Mm...

Todd: *Starting to wake up* ...?

Zorua: *buries her face in his fur*

Claire: mm... *sleepily nuzzles him back*

Key: ! *smiles, and nuzzles him* Hey...

Todd: *He wears a smile on his face while asleep. He's happy. Blissful*

Harry: ... Yes... I remember... *He feels warm from this. Harry gives her a dazed smile while Shezmul screams and howls inside of him*

Key: *glances back down at him and smiles--she wonders how long it's been since he's been able to sleep naturally like that... she can't remember*

Claire: *satisfied by his calm, she bites into his neck and drinks* mmhhh...

Todd: *He sleeps, curled up against the tree, on the ground*

Harry: *He sighs happily when she does this. Shezmul is far from amused*

Key: <:) ... *reaches over and combs her fingers through his hair, simply glad to have him back*

Claire: *bites a little harder, a bit hungrier than usual*

Todd: *he smiles a bit wider as she combs through his hair*

Harry: *Moans a little bit, enjoying this far more than he should*

Key: *leans down and kisses his cheek, still combing through his hair*

Claire: *also very much enjoys the experience, as she always does--she releases him after a few more moments, lapping up a few stray drops of blood. she's gotten better at not making an ungodly mess every time she needs to drink* mm... thank you, Harry.

Todd: *Is happily asleep and enjoying this*

Harry: *Still wearing that dazed smile* ... Mhmm ~

Key: *keeps doing this, enjoying his smile--she missed it*

Claire: *kisses his cheek* Come on, we need some sleep.

Todd: *Asleep and happy*

Harry: Mkay... *He holds onto Claire's shoulders like a drunkard*

Key: *rests her head back against the tree, smiling, keeping her hand in his hair. for the first time in a while, she was happy*

Claire: heheh... *helps him sit down against a tree, and pulls his head down so it rests on her shoulder* <3

Todd: *He winces a bit in his sleep, like something is bothering him*

Harry: *Leans against Claire and closes his eyes, a pleased smile on his face*

Claire: *rests her head against the top of his, hugging him close* Goodnight, Harry...

Key: ? *feels him move a bit under her hand--she brushes the back of her fingers against his cheek, wondering what was wrong* <:/ ...

Harry: *drowsily* M'night... <XP

Todd: *He shivers a little, something is REALLY bothering him*

Claire: *doesn't take too long to fall asleep*

Key: D:> ... *gently shakes his shoulder* Todd?

Harry: *falls asleep soon after*

Todd: *Being a heavy sleeper, he doesn't wake up from Key's touch and continues to suffer*

Key: Tooooodd..! *shakes him a little bit harder*

Todd: *He's startled awake, bleary-eyed and having a hard time regaining his sense of reality* Wh-whah -- Wassit...?? D8>

Key: It's okay! You were having a nightmare... D:>

Lucifer: ... We'll need to get moving tomorrow. We can't just attack Occulta head-on, but... He has the eyes. We need to take care of him fast.

Todd: I-I -- NO, I'm not! I just... I dunno... I don't like the idea of attacking him... Facing him at all.

Lucifer: I never suggested we go immediately. Tomorrow is exactly when we should start walking once more.

Todd: *Looks over at Shidako* <__<

Everyone: *looks away from Todd*

Shidako: *notices him, snorts a bit, then plops herself down on the ground* mf.

Key: Well, okay then. :I

Lucifer: Good. Glad that's settled. *He sits down against a tree*

Todd: ... I wonder if I can sleep. I... FEEL tired. But I don't know if that's from coming back from the dead or not. That sounded weird.

Everyone: *shuffle over to a spot to sleep in*

Key: Weird, but it makes sense... well, it won't hurt to try.<:/

Claire: *casts a hungry glance at Harry* <__<

Harry: *He looks over at Claire and catches that hungry look in her eyes. Shezmul makes him fear it, but he motions for Claire to come over. He shakes* D8> ...

Todd: ... I might still have my powers. Do you want me to help you sleep, Key?

Lucifer: ...

Everyone: *tries going to sleep*

Claire: *walks over to him, looking almost apologetic before whispering in his ear, charming him* Just relax... you know it doesn't hurt...

Key: ...I'd rather make sure YOU managed to get some rest instead...

Harry: *He calms down a little, but still fights against her* N-No...! D8>

Todd: <:/ ... *He nods a little, then lies himself down on the grass, against a tree. He closes his eyes and attempts to sleep*

Claire: *tries a bit harder, her voice quieter* Shh, shhhh... I promise it'll feel nice, just like every other time...

Key: *sits down near him, willing to stay up all night to make sure he sleeps*

Harry: *He starts getting a bit dazed from the effects of Claire's vampiric charm* ... Like... Like every other time...? D;

Todd: *Finds it surprisingly easy to nod off, and is out within minutes*

Key: *smiles a bit when she sees Todd fall asleep so quickly, and half-wishes she had let him put her to sleep too. she leans her head back against the tree trunk, and closes her eyes* ...

Claire: Mhmm... *moves her mouth closer to his neck, wrapping her arms around him* Just like every other time... it feels nice for the both of us, remember...?

Lucifer: *Sighs in annoyance* I don't know, can't he just live with it? >:/

Todd: ... No. D:>

Everyone: >__>;

Key: Could you at least TRY? I mean, you managed to shut Mehnit up... D:>

Lucifer: ... Fine. Fine, I will, but this is a BAD IDEA, and I'll be right and possibly also insane. >:/ *He then grabs onto Todd's head*

Todd: *For a few seconds, he's blank... then the screams begin*

Lucifer: *Also cries out from the sheer horror of it and forces his other, violently shaking hand onto Todd's head. He and Todd both crash against a tree and their eyes both start bleeding a black goop. Black sparks fly off them*

Everyone: DDDDDDD8

Key: DDDDDDDDD8!!! *without thinking, she grabs Lucifer and tries to yank him back, away from Todd, before it all gets even worse*

Lucifer: *Seems to be attached to Todd like a powerful magnet to a chunk of metal. He and Todd still scream from all that is happening. Their eyes are both inky black, the goop dripping from their eyes. Todd's nose even starts to bleed the stuff*

Harry: *shouts over their screaming* PULL HIM OFF!! DDDDDDD8

Everyone: *Stares in horror*

Key: *yells back, terrified* I'M TRYING!! DDDDDDDDDDDDDD8> *pulls even harder, trying to draw on her demekarr's strength as well*

Lucifer and Todd: *they are finally pulled apart, Todd sliding down the tree painfully and Lucifer falling onto the ground, out of breath*

Everyone: DDDDDDDDDD8

Key: *nearly falls backward from the sudden separation--she holds Lucifer up until she's sure he can stand on his own before rushing over to make sure Todd was okay* I-It was THAT BAD? DDDD8>

Lucifer: *He's having trouble regaining his balance and sense of reality. He's in shock from the experience* I-I just... I-i-it...

Todd: TH-THAT WAS HORRIBLE! D8> *frantically wipes off the black goop from his face*

Everyone: D8 ...

Key: OKAY, WE'RE NOT DOING THAT AGAIN. I AM SO, SO SORRY FOR ASKING. DDDDD8>

Todd: I-it could've been a way, though... I don't blame you, Key... D:>

Lucifer: *shivers, still in shock* C-can't...

Harry: ...Will Lucifer be okay?

Altodd: *barks*

Key: *looks over at Lucifer, who was still in shock* I-I dunno... D:>

Lucifer: *tries relaxing, slowing his breathing a bit, focusing on calming down* O-okay... I expected that... I'm okay...

Key: *is now concerned, and rather guilty* Are you sure? D:>

Lucifer: ... I'm sure... I'm... I'm fine. *He brushes himself off and casually walks away from Todd as if nothing happened*

Altodd: *Hops down from Key and gets onto Todd to lick him*

Todd: *Loosely takes her hand, his own words reminding himself of when he had Key's throat in his hands. He winces at the memory*

Altodd: *His head and ears perk up and he immediately gets off of Claire and sprints over to Key to start licking HER face*

Todd: *freezes up at the sight of Altodd. First he finds it odd to see him as a smaller werewolf during the day, but then his rage and insanity kicks in and he snarls at the beast, enraged by his presence*
