I have read your story as of January 2008 and I think that you could improve in a few aspects or your story. First I would slow down the plot, events happen so fast it's like watching a fast forwarded movie. You can easily slow down your plot in the future by adding extra details, etc. Also, I'm not sure how old you are so I don't want to be hard, but to me, anyone who is willing to write something that is 3000 words long. definitally deserves notice for their effort.
