Eh, there are various degrees of being a troll, besides for the most part, at least for me, there's a lesson to be taught to people that hate being trolled so much, they subconsciously CHOOSE to be offended.

I think it's really important that people learn to be able to take teasing without having a conniption by a certain age and not take themselves so seriously. I've been trolled a few times and I laugh and fun with it everytime, That's what alot of people fail to realize, trolls mostly just wanna have fun, if someone trolls you and you resond with a light-hearted, playful answer (like "lol k" for example) most trolls will leave you alone, however if you respond with an uptight, anal-retentive answer like "Go frack yourself, I BET YOUR MAMA DOESN'T LOVE YOU!!111ONEONEELEVEN" then you've brought it on yourself.

Most trolling is LIGHT-HEARTED fun, but most people take themselves much too seriously get offended and respond with something utterly innappropiate and 'over-the-top' and thus they get targeted for mean-spirted trolling. Ultimately, all trolling is a test of what kind of person you are based on your reaction. (Honestly, there are some HARDCORE evil angsty trolls, but for the most part my statement is true.)
