This was my first NANOWRIMO - an attempt to write novel draft in a month. It is rough in many ways, and I'm not sure I knew where I was going, but I still remember it fondly and would like to overhaul it someday. The idea began in my mind with images of a smoke-colored cat in rust-red autumn leaves, a snow white cat curled around a heart of shining cut glass in a palace tower, and the empty-eyed queen to whom the heart belonged...

The reason I accused you of bragging before getting the facts is because back when I was doing drugs every day...I fabled myself and wanted the attention I got from it. Idk...there was something so delicious in listening to people care about me. In a way I think I was addicted to that attention. I would go to places high just so I could know someone gave a damn.

But you're not me and I need to remember that everyone struggles differently. I love you and im terribly sorry

I was thinking when i did that. And it kinda
seemed like you were doing it everyday. everytime
i'd talk to you you'd brag about it.....i was also
pissed i emailed you and you never replied back yet
you would talk to everyone else online even before the email....i guess i just wanted to get your attention even
if you were completly pissed off at me and you maybe even wanted to show up to my front door and beat the living shoot out of me. But atleast I'd be getting acknowledged by you some how.
