I was watching a video of Raven and Stevie Richards in 1996 (Stevie: What the hell am I going to do? Raven's going to kill me! T_T Joey: I don't know it was your bright idea! xDD) And I was just wondering why back then Stevie's voice sounded so clear but today it's all raspy? Is it just because he's getting old or is it an injury or what?

Well, he had neck surgury cuz he broke his neck in, I think, '97 or '98, and they had to go in through his throat. So now he has an implant in his throat just so he can talk. T_T very sad, I know. But his speech is raspy now due to his ingury and the fact that he has an implant in his throat.

;--; Awww are you serious? How'd he break it? Yeah, I was just wondering that the other day when I watched that video. Poor Stevie.

Oh, Terry Funk was supposed to hit him in the back with a steel guardrail (Stevie agreed to it, he was ready.) Terry just dropped it too early, and it clipped Stevie in the back of the neck. He was paralyzed in the center of the ring and they had to rush him to the hospital. They said he may never move from the neck down again, but they were wrong. The only thing was, he had to wrestle for five months with a broken neck before he could get surgury.

Well I guess you risk everything when you become a wrestler. It is still sad though. :/
