in the story it's a musical and my made up Paulina loses her powers because Chase steals them after stabbing Jack in the heart. and Kimiko is dating Jack's brother so it makes it harder For Paulina to get less mournful and near the end of chapt 1  Wuya says: I'm sorta glad he's gone
